Anywhere here is my monthly usage with help of Torrentflux Servers pls check out the download not the upload. Because upload is not valid because i streaming from my media player to my PC

RT-N16 is a good investment because i need gigabit power and N to transfer files to my media player Dvico. Streaming bluray 45GB is not a problem .

The way to follow

Replace the 10.0.0.1 with the address for the router to use to access the modem (ie. if your modem's address is 10.0.0.1 then assign something else for the router)

    * Go to Administration -> Commands
    * Enter

ifconfig `nvram get wan_ifname`:0 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0

and click on Save Startup

    * Enter

iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o `nvram get wan_ifname` -j MASQUERADE

and click on Save Firewall

Notes:

  1. `nvram get wan_ifname` gets the WAN port of your router automatically. If you wish to enter it manually, you should run echo `nvram get wan_ifname` to get your WAN interface name.

Rules of thumb ur modem ip should use the same subnet n not the same ip as ur router that 10.0.0.1 is just example not for u to follow it. Pls read with ur heart not eyes . Hehehe works for me :-)

Modem 192.168.1.1

Router 192.168.1.2

Pls do not #fakap ur self

Modem Ip : 192.168.1.1
Router Ip : 192.168.1.2
@ the router commands line i put this
ifconfig `nvram get wan_ifname`:0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0


@ Computer's LAN network i put
ip address : 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : 192.168.1.2

Install printer driver:

ipkg -force-depends install kmod-usb-printer  <---- this one, i know put @ adminstration>commands line

Edit /jffs/etc/config/usb.startup and add

insmod /jffs/lib/modules/2.4.30/printer.o <---- put @ where? i got error

Connect printers and reboot your router

See if any printers have been found:

dmesg | grep usb <----- this one,  know put @ adminstration>commands line

Yes, but it's quite tricky.
klseet has some guide on enabling UniFi on DD-WRT, but it's for other routers.

Enabling UniFi connectivity is 1 thing, enabling HyppTV is another that'll give you lots of headache.
Only go for DD-WRT if you know what you're doing & you've done a lot of reading / research.
