I Purchased the Asus rt-n65u to replace the standard unifi router beacuse i wanted faster wifi reception and now after setting up the router everything is working fine except for when i am playing online games.
It's really laggy and keeps spiking (always 150-200+ ping)
This never happened when i was using the default unifi router. I tried changing some settings on the router to prioritize bandwith for gaming but
seems the problem still persists. Can anybody help me find a solution please.
I am using 20mbps from unifi
I was surveying for asus router to replace my unifi stock router bcos i cant stream my pptv movies in my hi media q6 II android tv box. Im using 10mbps . Im surprised that u said stock router can play online games without lagging. Your model is dual band router right, did u change setting to 5ghz band? Have u tried using lan cable and see any difference? It's really laggy and keeps spiking (always 150-200+ ping)
