am an existing user of P1 WiMax. Currently, am quite ok with their speed. Thinking of upgrading as am on basic package.

So, which one is better?

P1 Wimax 2Gb plan at RM 99 or YES 5Gb plan prepaid at RM1199!!!???

So, if compare on speed between P1 and YES, YES would be better?

To me, am just an average user. No gaming, just FB and occasional YouTube and movie downloads. With the basic plan of p1 - 384kbps speed, it's quite good but can forget about YouTube and downloading movies as it's gonna take forever!

That's why I need to upgrade my package.

If in terms of value, both are quite competitive but I guess being the new kid on the block, YES would have an added advantage. The only thing I don't like about YES is that it's prepaid and the amount is not small, ie rm1190 even though got credit and rebates.

I would want the data plan only as I don't think I'll be using this as my call line.

Anyone here using Zoom. Just wanted to see if anyone has tried to link up the Zoom router to a more powerful wireless router. I realise the Zoom wireless signal is not strong enough. Thus, I have purchase a Asus RT-N16 router. Then, I have turn off the wireless option in Zoom and plug a LAN cable from Zoom to Asus WAN port.

The problem I am facing is Zoom has a WAN IP address and local IP address like 192.168.1.x. After connecting both Zoom and Asus, the Asus will asume another IP address range like 192.168.2.x. It will then be allocated a WAN IP address from Zoom such as 192.168.1.100

Thus, if I try to enable DDNS on Asus, it will register WAN IP address as 192.168.1.100 which is just a local IP address instead a valid WAN IP address.


Disable Asus dns.. Put Asus ip same subnet, such Aa 192.168.1.2, connect zoom to Asus LAN port. Not wan port.

Asus will be bridge device. No function will be used, such as portforward or ddns.

What i dun understand is after 30 days.. it will deduct rm30 for renew another 30 days without any notify?

Is it true, "Go 4G Doggle" starter kit does not come with free YesMail?
I bought that early this week, pay RM100, try to login for YesMail, but unsuccessful. Send email to their customer service, and got a reply saying "Go 4G Doggle" did not come with FREE YesMail. In the brochure and its website says it come with FREE YesMail. I am confused. Is that true?
If this the case, it is blatant lie on their part.

Since YES has no Contract but a "hidden RM30 T&C", why not terminate account after 30-Days.
After that get a NEW account, where NEW account have better offer & no contract.

You can see many other isp/telco ask you sign package with 1 or 2 Year contract, then after you sign a package next few months come out with even better offer & promotions. You cannot change or terminate it.

So, YES customer has the benefit of changing to a better offer & promotions since there is no contract & only for 30-Days.

Same as those Celcom, Digi, Maxis, Streamyx, UniFi, UMobile always having FREE Activation/Installation Fee but most of them have contract not like YES.

U-mobile is coming into the broadband scene as well. And their speed is 42MBps instead of Yes 16MBps. For RM68 you get 5GB from U. Instead of pathetic RM68 for 3.5GB from Yes. If they can provide that speed realistically, Yes is far from cheaper and fast. I am playing a wait and see game.

The also have a RM128 - 20GB as compared to RM150 - 10GB.

If Yes, wants to compete, they got to do better. Only thing I can say is, perhaps on coverage, they may lose out. But those of us in Klang Valley, are pretty safe.

i did a factory reset on my huddle coz the led blinking non stop..
everything look fine but when i try to connect to wifi it will bring me to log in  "never use/new device/ new user" page.. what should i do now

I'm afraid that it will be another RM30 for next month. In the end it will accumulate to a large amount and I'll need to pay.
