I had my hand with a HUDDLE a while ago. Doing a speedtest to local server can get 8Mbps/1Mbps but when i choose an overseas server gives me 500kbps/1Mbps ... anyone sees this?

Please understand the difference in between Network Speed and Achievable Speed.

HSDPA for Maxis, Digi and Celcom can achieve Max Network Download Speed of 14.4Mbps
WiMAX 16e for YES and P1 can achieve a Max Network Download Speed of 38Mbps DL
HSPA+ for U Mobile can achieve a Max Network Download Speed of 42Mbps

The network speed is meant to be shared by everyone under the same cell sector.

Even if you are alone under the cell, also network speed is subject to your signal quality.

Discussing about network download speed is just meaningless caused in most case the actual achievable speed is only 1/3 of the network speed due to the distribution of subscribers and signal quality per subscribers.

malaysia average 179 KB/sec, korea average 2202 KB/sec (i saw this research somewhere few days ago but didnt remember where).zzzz Malaysia ISP really hopeless. im praying that malaysia ISP could improve now that theres actually a lot of competition

In Korea, people surf 90% of local Korea websites and 10% international webs but in Malaysia, we surf 90% international and 10% local.

The money used to provide better service is used to pay the international link.

There is always a reason why other's internet is cheaper and faster.

Different countries have different user behaviour so cannot compare by speed only.

Well, it has something to do with it. As I've tried it a couple of times. The FPS works fine on my game with the same pc, same spec. but on different line. Very weird.

But with the yes, fps( i do agree that it has to do with Gc, Cpu and etc) really drops by half. I'm wondering if anyone had the same problem and if there's something wrong with the settings? None are changed by the way, game and pc wise. The only thing different was the line used. P1 vs YES.

YES has higher jitter rate than P1?

Jitter = Packet delay variation

Not sure about gaming but jitter can cause inconsistency in video and voice which might be due to your low FPS.

Maybe go to http://pingtest.net/ and check the jitter rate.

Jitter could cause by the wireless condition, backhaul transmision or even the devices used.

Good luck in troubleshooting!
