right now the YES is doing the PAY AS U USE ( minimum usages RM30 every month ),.. so only light and a bit of medium user is using,. but when YES is really expand to most plan and more user,. u imagine same thing like p1,. first starting time is amzing,.. and then after 3 years now, is officially overloaded and instead of they enlarge their signal tower capacity , they choose to reduce  400kbps ( FUP ) to 128kbps ( FUP ),....  which mostly people only interested after quota speed is 400kbps not 128kbps
*
Haha, given most response so far I think YES can cope up with the capacity easily since many people will be trying to ration their internet usage. biggrin.gif

Why don't you just take the RM 150 valuepack? If you can't finish it you can always bring forward to next month biggrin.gif

Is YES account login in their website is really that hot? sweat.gif , until now it still can't login. I wandering, what will they say later for the user that have their value pack expired during the time and unable to renew it, hence all leave over sms, call time and surfing MB got forfeited due to unable to renew, and being charge for 9sen/MB, hahaha.
*
I am still trying to access their portal to check my bandwidth balance. Hope they will fix it soon sweat.gif

After using for few weeks I began to realize the weakness of YES 4G, especially in coverage. sad.gif
Previously in my office, my U Broadband will give a full signal but YES just one bar.

How does Yes Life works?
Do we need internet connection to make calls? how about if out of Yes coverage?

Example: travel to east malaysia which doesn't have any Yes coverage.
*
Yes Life works as long as it is connected to the internet. It doesn't necessary have to be using YES 4G connection to make calls. You can make calls as long as you're connected to internet.

Yes doesn't provide any simcard.
Let's say iPhone without a simcard, without internet, Yes Life doesn't work right?

Nope then.

Actually the main question is how can i get the Internet Connection from YES 4G as i don't have any simcard?
If only i do have Internet Connection from YES 4G, i'm only able to make calls/sms etc.
I'm new to YTL technologies.
*
I don't really understand your question. sweat.gif

Actually if you're concerned about making calls when you're mobile, I still think your best option is to get a monthly postpaid with data allowance or prepaid that has reasonable charges on data. In that way, you can make calls without the need of external device to get internet connection.

If you think that's very expensive then you'll need external device like Yes Huddle (device that creates hotspot) but is still limited to coverage and battery life of the device.

Did YES finally comply with MCMC order to block the file hosting sites? I'm unable to access to those sites using YES even with Google DNS or OpenDNS.

I sad. sad.gif
*
Yes they have blocked the sites. Can't blame them though.
