lwliam: yeah.. of course sharpness is a good thing... but without proper technique and composition.. a photo that is 'sharp' only wont mean a thing... tongue.gif the beercan is a great option... im looking to get that some time soon too.. icon_idea.gif

ieR: what u doing taking photos from dark place? brows.gif

jerrylyh: whats ur budget? sometimes the extra push needed for the extra rm100-200 is worth it.

IMHO... i dont really need warranty but obviously its better la just incase anything happen..

between 55200 and 75300... my personal preference is the 55200, coz i dont really need 300mm... but i will use 55mm more compared to 75mm... so hence... the easy choice for me... but what about u?

do u need the 55mm more or the 300mm more? smile.gif

just my opinion bro, if you're the bird photographer type... or like to become peeping tom... then 300mm is nice... but its up to what you NEED... happy.gif

lwliam: i prefer the your original colder shot because it gave a somewhat light glow and also it made me focus more on the model's face... and i have to agree with albnok that viking's tweak gave he model bad teeth.. lol... and also i notice with the warmer shots, the model's hair looked more messy than in the colder one.. cheers.

ahpingko: stick a knife on the camera la, sure sharp.. lol...with ur limited budget, give the sharpness a rest. unless of course u have unlimited budget then by all means google 'the sharpest lens in the universe'.
all lenses have their sweet spot la... someone told me the sweet spot for the DT 50mm is at f2.2 ... i dont know how true this is but it worked out for me... and the 35mm 1.8 will definitely be more expensive than the 50mm 1.8
