This should really be answered by Maxis peeps but one of you might have the experience:

I have an 80 Value Plus plan but I'm still on my old RM99 unlimited GPRS data plan.  If I take one of the iValue plans can I keep my GPRS data plan?
*
Actually you can but example u take I value 1 and u add on unlimited 99 so monthly minimum would be rm100 + rm99 which I don't think u will want it icon_rolleyes.gif

Now if your data usage reach 80% you will receive an SMS reminder and once you reach 100% u will get another SMS notification

y not? after all current 3gs users paying same amount, the rateplan name also same, or at least maxis shud have an iphone trade-in scheme for the 3gs users...
*
They only upgrade you if you purchase with contract I phone 4 on top of your current 3Gs contract and for trade in they have it also at klang valley branch on 25 and 26 but they take it at rm1000

Understand that everyone is now waiting in line at the Gardens for their new Iphone4.  drool.gif Wish I could be there as well, but I'm from Penang and not crazy enough to drive all the way there line up past midnight to get my hands on one. But still, I will get one when it's released nationwide.
My question now, what is the difference if we purchase the Iphone4 at Maxis Centre versus MEP (such as Switch)?
How about the warranty cover etc? Will purchase made at Switch, warranty will still be covered by Maxis? unsure.gif

The other day I called Maxis (123) and asked this. The operator mention that the warranty will be covered by the seller you buy from. E.g, you buy from Maxis, then they will cover for you.

Anyone has any comment? Or is this a damn stupid topic to talk about. blush.gif

Regs,
z_c00l
*
Honestly if you purchase from maxis and meps it's the same and warraty is also cover by maxis so no issues on that but in terms of knowledge and service maxis centre will be better thumbup.gif

*
You can purchase on 27 if u are out of klang valley area sad.gif the 5% is not service tax but our beloved gov tax. The amount for tax is based on your total bill usage.

QUOTE(objectifyme @ Sep 25 2010, 03:36 PM)
Okay, I'm going to purchase the iValue 2 plan along with the iPhone 4 32 GB. I'm planning to pay with 0% installment over 12 months.

But before that, I need some clarification on how the 0.06% processing fee will be implemented.

Is the 0.06% fee taken from the price of the phone alone (RM 1,890) or the total price (RM 2,090 including the RM 200 prepayment)?

Any answers would be great. Thanks.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to state that I'm using a Citibank card.
*
From what i know if the price of the phone is Rm1890 they will swipe Rm1890 under 12 months epp. So MAYBE the bank charge or what im not sure la. The installment price is only for the Phone alone and the prepayment is not included in the installment.

16gb iValue1 24months contract Maxis gives a almost rm300 savings over the cheapest yellow package. Yellow wins on 32gb though. Not sure if yellow gives 2 years warranty on device but Maxis does.
And you can buy the phone OUTRIGHT+hotlink simpack from maxis.
*
Bro Yellow Man dont have 24 months warranty la. So in other words Maxis set should worth more than the Yellow Man because of the warranty. You can see in Garage Sale those 3Gs all also no more warranty or almost expired so with 24 months warranty i believe the resale value will be better in the future. rclxms.gif
