From the latest news, korea seems has very huge demand for iPhone. Probably the next batch of iPhone to SG will either be the ETA or later :'(

I use my Maybank Platinum CC to buy 2 iPhone but i put billing and shipping address to my trusted friend in Singapore , they didn't call for verification and Maybank also didn't hold the amount S$1936.
I think it is depend on your bank wants to approve the amount or not, so i suggest you go on and have a try!!

Good Luck!
*
Maybe you should call the bank for pre-approval. I will call mine later on too, to save from any potential issues arising from here...

malaysia price will probably be more expensive, due to sirim and tax, probably around rm2.5k. personally, i got mine from singapore purely due to not wanting to wait for malaysia release ... hehe.
*
Yup, so for those who hold the unit until the warranty is over, basically it's same regardless of m'sia or sg unit whistling.gif whistling.gif

@ SGD888, I think it's good deal. iPhone 3GS used unit still selling around RM1.9k, top up another RM200 for newer version of software and hardware, very much worth it, I'd say smile.gif

how to call apple singapore?
i tried +65  but it doesn't work on 1800 numbers...

the corporate addess one  found at http://www.apple.com/sg/contact/ went thru computer and end up saying i call out of office hours
*
Saturday, Sunday is not working day.

+65 will not work on 1800 numbers

Apple has a +65 normal number which usually is +65 XXXX XXXX

if you are in singapore, then you can call their 1800 numbers

in Malaysia we use +02 XXXX XXXX instead of +65 if you call using fixed line

When your phone reaches sg? Charges apply brows.gif brows.gif

QUOTE(ysc @ Aug 28 2010, 02:05 PM)
so can +02 1800?
*
No way. You have to get their normal phone number, instead of the 1800

is there a way to check the serial or something?

Hi,

I'm planning to buy 2 sets of iphone 4 16gb from sg online store and put my fren address in SG as the shipping address. Then my fren will ship to me at MY using courier service.

Is there any additional fee will be charged other than the courier fee? and how much will be charged?
*
Beware of the sirim fee + tax if *touchwood* detained by custom...
