if sealed box iphone4 you hides in your backpack, how would they know worh? I don't think they ask you to open all your luggage or baggage right if you come back by buses or car.

im still not clear about the GST, okay lets say now my sg friend help me buy using sg CC , and then i go collect from them.
by the time i collect, can i straight go to airport and claim the GST back ?
*
forget about claiming GST, i heard that you cannot bcoz...
1st, online purchase via Apple Online Store will not eligible you to claim for GST
2nd, GST only applicable for airline passenger
correct me if this two points is incorrect icon_rolleyes.gif

just another question, if the phone i really buy for personal use? they tax tat also?
*
i think they tax you based on the condition of the item, such as your item is sealed in the box, or unsealed, or without box, so if personal use, then i suggest you unseal and unwrap all your plastic and put your iphone in your pocket, that way i think is truly consider personal use, but if the box is fully sealed, then no excuse for tax

is above considered personal use? or still will kena tax? >< if still kena tax i only can say WTF!

the custom will believe you, they have to believe you bcoz they got no reason to stop you, if this way also cannot, a lot of your personal belonging will kena tax also, such as your watches, your glasses, your underwear, your dress, your luggage etc.. etc...

if you wants to keep the box for any reason, unfold the box and keep it in a document folder or slip inside books or anything flat

@LuckyDucky
who's running out of stock? the Apple Reseller?
*
Currently the entire Singapore is running out of stock for Official Unlocked iPhone4, however, there are ways to get it though:
1st) go to singtel or any carrier providers in singapore and subscribe with their iphone plan
2nd) buy from unofficial persons/shops and they will charge you very expensive for that iphone4, those are the persons/shops who bought it earlier and sell it at the premium price tag due to the current stocks shortage and demand

if you wish to go to singapore now and grab the iphone4 from the shelf at the price of SGD$888 or SGD$1,048, sorry lar, you cannot get that for now, maybe on Oct or Nov you can get it there.

Order through Apple Online Store is also an option though, but you will only get it after 3-4 weeks time.

tips: if you really desperately to get iphone4 now, you can get it from garage sale, some of sellers might have stocks ready in their hand for you to grab icon_rolleyes.gif
