When saw this machine, look interesting and feel like want to buy. But later after some thinking, got to pass and not to buy.

Did try the coffee. Somehow the brew smell not that good. Give it a so so brew or normal coffee judge.

This machine only can use with the nescafe capsule and no others. I can't use others brand or bean on this machine. What if the market here no more this capsule. hmm.gif  Or difficult to get if those market decide not to sell it cause by low demand. hmm.gif  Than I have to throw away this machine.

Also 1 day if I bored with this nescafe taste, I can't use others bean on it. So it will become display set in my home. tongue.gif

True regarding the limited choices of coffee you have by using capsules. That's cons of having full automated espresso machines. On the other hand, because it's capsulized, you get the consistency of the coffee outcome.
Unless of course, the manufacturer screw up a certain batch of coffee during process tongue.gif

For the manual machines, where you need to get a proper burr grinder, bean storage, milk frother timing - it's too much work just for one morning cup. rclxub.gif But the ability to try various type of beans, it weights out all the hassle evenly.

Hey guys, any dolce gusto users here? After much research and consideration, I've decided to get that machine for my hubby's b'day. CBTL came in very close but the thought of buying the milk frother separately was quite a turn off coz that's like spending close to RM1k for the whole set. I've already found someone from the UK who can bring in those various dolce gusto pods so there's alot of variety.

If not mistaken the dolce gusto doesn't actually frother the milk but rather use milk capsules right? If so, I doubt the taste of the latte would be good.
The CBTL milk frother allows variety of milk choices (soya included tongue.gif )

I tried the Delonghi machine from a colleague's purchase, too much mess it made. The so call steam wand doesn't give enough steam to make the milk bubbly sad.gif

Yup, it comes with milk capsules depending on which flavor you buy so it's much easier to make. I tried the Mocha and it's good. Only problem is they lack variety unlike CBTL. But I'm shipping some of the different flavors in so no problems there. Hope it's easy to operate though.

Okay guess I dont even need to consider Delonghi then, hehe smile.gif

I think try to avoid the milk capsules (I bet it's powder inside!! but it's just my guess blush.gif ), because it won't taste as good as frothing the milk. When the milk is frothed correctly, it gives a sweet taste naturally without adding sugar.

When the frothed milk pour into the espresso shot, you'll get a natural sweet, smooth texture taste latte biggrin.gif

Personally, if really want to have a good shot espresso, get prepared to lump in at least 5k investment (good burr grinder, double pump espresso machine etc). Not worth it unless you're going to open a home barista cafe tongue.gif
