The higher latency and lower upload vs download b/w is normal for most VDSL2 Unifi setups I've seen
ooo.. thats quite a bummer then.. is there anyway i could request TM to increase the cap then?

guys, my dir-615 just died after only 6 days of use..

Half way surfing lost connection, and not able to connect to the router via ip.. The light indicators abit wonky as well..

Is there any other router i can use? Ald called tech support and i Cant wait for tm to come back to me.. Might as well run to lowyat and get one now.

Im aware most router is not compatible with iptv exception for microtik..

Any sugesstion on what i should pick up at lowyat??

the DIR-615... it kinda like can ON.. but I cannot access the router at all, done hard reset still cannot

the tech guys are here troubleshooting my problem of dead router...

what is funny is when they came.. on my router.. it works..

like wtf??

I off it for 8 hours and woke up in the morning to try.. cannot.

then tried another 2 times also cannot after that.

Then they came.. just turn it back on.. can already??

@_@

Anyway they would good enough to swap it for me.. don't wanna risk the its reliability.

They also mention got alot of cases like this as well

New Unifi user reporting in. I can confirm that the RB750G works for the Unifi. As a matter of fact, it works like a charm. You need to set up SNAT in order to enable the private network to acces the Internet.

RouterOS is seriously powerful too. Its like you can run a mini ISP with billing features, QoS, etc.

I have just left my router on for one night. Looking at the logs, I am seeing brute force attacks via SSH already. Prior to this, I had no idea that the Internet was such a hostile environment!
*
Any idea if they carry the RB250GS?

Guys, fyi, Soliton just informed the shipment has arrived in SG, so you guys still interested? Anyone call Landasan, are they bringing in?

If you guys are still interested, I would suggest to group 20 orders in a box as this is the most economical shipping cost calculated by Soliton.
However, there are still some pending logistic issues such as:

1. custom, who can help to import in?
2. payment arrangement?
3. how to re-deliver to individual?

How er gentlemen? rclxub.gif
I just emailed them over the weekend and a sales rep got back to me.. i asked them any indication of when the 250GS arriving because its currently out ofstock..

Below is his reply:

QUOTE
Hi,
For your info our latest order just arrive last month..
I will update this RB250G to my boss for next order.
We know this product became famouus after some problem with DLINK in
UNIFI, many others customers also request for same item for UNIFI
solutions.
We will inform after we get the product.

TQ.
So seems like no indication or solid date as yet.

Bringing it over from SG.. doubt it will have tax because routers falls under computer items which is exempted from tax isnt it?

I seriously want this switch because the dir-615 is totally unreliable.

Has anyone encounter their dlink router died even when using it as a switch??

Another suggestion... Whatever the number of switches that you put in the package, make sure you have them declare the total value less than RM 500 (i.e. SGD 215.76 based on today's exchange rates).
*
isn't that like super low?
