Hi,

Got VIP5 installed in 4 hours 2 weeks ago.
Things been great so far, getting stable 5Mbps and no interruption "yet".

I've got a question though.
Not sure if it's been asked before.
Does the STB streaming share with my bandwidth?

For example, while viewing HD TV will it still allow me to browse/download at 5Mbps?
Or the total download speed will be reduced (shared with STB)?
Thanks.

Hey what is the default 6 digit pin number for the Video On Demand? - installer told me the day he installed but I have not used until today and have forgot!

I believe it's "123456".
I saw them punch that in when they configure my STB the other day.
Good luck.

The IPTV has its own dedicated bandwidth.

Technology of fiber allows at least up to 100Mb/s so if subscribe 5Mb connection u that wat u get. IPTV i heard from a TM person that its 10MB allocated and DECT phone is 1MB. so there is plenty of bandwidth available

been told, 8mbs by its own..

have tested using the iptv, torrenting at nearly 500kBps same time.. so far no problem..

Nice.
Then, I don't have to worry about turning off the STB when not in use while I'm browsing/downloading at the same time.
Thanks for the info.

DamonLBS,

Check out rizvanrp's Unifi handbook.
This link Unifi Handbook @ athena has the steps to go into configuration page.
But not sure if it's safe to play around though.
Good luck.
