Spotted cable work for UniFi just now at Klang, the Bak Kut Teh area (Batu Tiga if I'm not mistaken).

i just called Unifi CS.
They mention dat there will be charges Rm200 for installation for all packages (VIP & BIZ) effective 1st Oct 2010.
But the installation charges will be spread over a period of 5 month, which mean RM40/month.

I need Unifi ASAP before Oct 10.  sweat.gif

Ummm...

Unfortunate for those who live in areas not covered with UniFi by 1st October. wink.gif

i am on 10mbps unifi, but speedtest normally at 5-6mbps only.. should i complain to tmnet?
*
Yes you should if you get that kind of speed consistently. If you only get 5-6mbps on VIP/BIZ10, might as well you go for the 5mbps package instead.

Another question guys,

Once I've installed the unifi, my desktop will no longer using Ethernet cable anymore but Wifi since the equipments are located downstair. Does this affect the speed drastically?
*
No as long the signal strength and quality is not very bad. smile.gif

Good if the performance is great, bad if it's the opposite since you will be stuck with it for a while.

How much cheaper for the MikroTik RB250GS if a bulk is done? Although I may not have UniFi for now, might join in the bulk if there's a lot savings in it.

Well, I think YouTube plays a part in online entertainment since we usually go to YouTube for many purposes. If it gets throttled, then another downside again since one reason why people want a faster connection is for faster streaming. sweat.gif
