Same here...was told 2 weeks by CS at TMPoint...but one month on, the line is still not terminated.

I have already followed up with CS (100) and settled whatever outstanding payment as advised.

Then I followed up again with CS (again via 100), they said they haven't received my order.  doh.gif  Hope they act on it soon. Sigh...

Me too.... my old fixed line and internet had being a almost one month terminated.. yet when i dial the number still active...

The best thing is when i ask TM Point CS she said after this you can call 100 to check whether my old fixed line had been deactivate... but still the line was activate like normal... tomorrow i'm going to TM Point and rant to them when they will really terminate the line as i don't wanna pay twice Fixed line and Unifi....

Dunno what are they doing out there, i did ask TM Point CS.. how you going to terminate the line..she said "We just do it here need not to go to your place".. in the end, the line still activate ... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

strange.. been using the TM router for 24/7 for the pass 5 days on almost 3GB of upload and 200GB of download. no sign of yet the d-link gonna fail me.

i used a tray to seperated the modem and router on to of each other around 6" and the modem is above the ground 2". no fan or air-con environment.

in most of the time i will on on the DECT phone and the IPTV.

good to you dude... while others experience the misery of "Modem Kaput"... rclxub.gif

I saw some major cable works around my area these few days (around seapark/ss2 area) i hope its Unifi...

Just a question, can i still maintain my streamyx line on top having Unifi?, i might be want to use my streamyx dedicated to my gaming pc while unifi to share amongst family.
*
Yes for landed property but for flatted unit TM won't allowed you to have another broadband in the house this is what i got from the Unifi CS and also for the TM Installer... don't know if others user can have both when staying at flatted unit..

Can I know what you're doing with your 20mbps line at home?
*
wow! 20mbps... what will be the estimated time when ddl for 700mb file..for sure fast one..

mine only for 5Mbps and unfortunately when i did speedtest with unifi apps(via lan cable) it shows from 0% to 60% processing only can reach 2.60Mbps at the end to reach another 40% then can reach 4.70Mbps... Unifi Technical said if suppose to get 80% from 5Mbps doh.gif ... reported to Unifi and don't know how long it will be settle... rclxub.gif

700MB file should only take around 5 minutes at top speed.

dude, it's truly really fast... 1TB won't be enough with this kind of speed rclxms.gif

388kbps+ is consider ok. even your VIP5 can reach that download speed. mine VIP5 max can reach 600kbps+

but this mostly on the server can handle those download speed or not. so 388kbps+ consider alright.
and you are allow to have as many streamyx or unifi installaed in your high rise building if you have enough RJ11 port in your unit. in most of the condition high rise building will only provide 1 RJ11(telephone) port and link you to the TM box.

but when you purchase a high rise building which not being construct yet. u actually can have all those port customise according to your need. so the developer will place those customised port which you requested and conseal it to the building backbone. in most of the cases the you customised port will be charge RM150 - RM300 per port.

@fulat,

one to two days after installation my connection/download can reach more than 3Mbps, after that it dropped to lower than that i.e 300kbps - 400kbps... to reach 600kbps .. rclxub.gif...

i've asked one of my neighbor at my place he said it should reach 900kbps since he had the same VIP5 like mine (yes, he reach that rate of ddl)... let says Streamyx 1Mbps can reach 160kbps - 180kbps, while 5Mbps can reach 300kbps to 400kbps.... hmm.gif

kimie,

sometimes it depand on the server which upload for your download. so, location of server and server resources also another factor you should take into consideration.
but again, there are other issues as well... if you want egt the maximum performance of your connection. please do switch off the IPTV and the DECT phone. only the modem and the router running.

even you dont watch the IPTV and leave the IPTV box on. it's still occupy your 5MB bandwith. so my advise. turn it off if you want max performance.

@fulat,

been trying to ddl from any links that i found and still get the same results... more worst when it came at 10pm above.. rclxub.gif

in fact my dect phone off and IPTV box still in the box (no extra TV to connect... thehehe).. anyway will wait Unifi do rectify my problem since i've made my report to them... anyway thanks fulat..
