1. Brand. (prefer HTC, or samsung)
2. Budget. (1.5k-1.8k)
3. Specs. (1G Processor / Latest Android OS Ver / comfortable screen size)
4. What you need in the phone (look nice)
im confusing for taking htc legend/desire or samsung galaxy s.
htc legend giving me nice design, but the spec is lower.
htc desire spec high, but the design ok-ok.
galaxy s high spec n design nice, but price high. but personally prefer htc.
got any others recommendation?
im looking for subscribe package with credit card.
I am using HTC Desire, it is quite good
Samsung Galaxy S has better and bigger screen, if that what you're looking for. But I personally am never a fan of TouchWiz...

OK I'm thinking of getting an Android phone. This'll be my first Android as I have been using Nokia all along and my E71 is starting to get cranky.
1. Brand - Doesn't matter (don't really know!)
2. Budget - Not too worried

3. Specs - The larger the screen, the better.
4. I don't care too much about looks. I use my phone for email, web browsing (flash support would be nice). It should have a camera but I don't care if it's not super good. Keyboard - never tried touch screen keyboard but I'm willing to try. A good calendar / diary and GPS navigation is a must. Oh, and easy data transfer from my E71 to the new phone would be very convenient.
Thanks guys.
Oh yeah I don't know how it works, but I'd rather not have to subscribe to any of those special phone-specific packages or switch phone providers (I'm on Digi at the moment). I'm already subscribed to an unlimited data package with Digi and don't intend to change.
Seems like Samsung Galaxy S is the best now... if you're not worried about the price

HTC Wildfire or HTC Hero better?
HTC Wildfire resolution is too low, doesn't make much sense for Android. And why not consider Legend instead (the newer version of Hero?)
