Hi,

I am new with Android. After searching for the info, find out this OS look great. My friend now using Motorola Milestone, the game & apps was nice. But kinda lag & sluggish a bit. Currently I am using SE Satio, now want to go for Android.

Stated below is the model which is in my mind

*HTC Desire/Samsung Galaxy S/Motorola Milestone XT720 or Droid X

I am searching for a phone which is a good camera, for gaming, responsive & fast. Also can surf internets, do words, excel & emails.

Any responses are higly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

as ex-user of SE, i would advise you to stay away from SE products.. their customer supports, delevopers are slow.. They might be no updates for Xperia.. scared it will end up like their high-end phone Satio..

Yesterday went to Solaris Digi with wifey to get her Legend.  Being absolute Android newbies, we didn't know how to do the simplest of tasks (like locking the screen) and had to ask the staff standing around there, but were told to read the manual tongue.gif  told them there was no manual, only a quickstart guide, so they took the phone to the back to ask the technician... that's certainly not quite satisfying... I mean, they stand around the phones all day, and they don't know how to lock the screen?

The phone itself is spectacular.  After using it, I wonder why Symbian is so popular, it feels like stone age OS.

hi,

agreed with you.. I am a symbian fan boy before.. Well, I grown with my first Nokia N-Gage Classic, then go for N82, N85, then my last Symbian set which is Satio..

After playing with Android, I realize how out-to-date Symbian is.. And, lack of developers making an apps or games for this platform..

I'm planning to get xperia x10, but what u said scares me a bit. does that mean SE is not good/has many lacking?

+ more drawback of X10, it is said that X10 cant & will never support multi touch due to hardware & software issues...
