Bring asian console to Pal countries Can i game update(like new maps, bug fix) when i'm overthere? What else should i be aware of when im using there besides the voltage difference, that can potentially "brick" or damage or Ban my console? Those who did these before pls share

I think most PAL countries are on 240v. If yours is from SG, then you don't need to worry much.
How many games do you have? I would suggest you sell off your console and get a PAL set if you're there for a long time.

And im not going to mod it since i wanna play online. Games over here are cheap =p This post has been edited by evangelion: Jul 26 2010, 09:32 AM

if u r talking about Aussie/UK, no worries about the voltage, it's the same like Mahresia
Updates & such, and online also no worries, can go online normally too
but you might have to create a new game tag to get the local content there
also the games sold there are PAL games, not all are playable on your asian console ler... you can buy region free games only, which I doubt there's a lot.

Sometimes you will get lucky and region free games will come out...also one can play xbox live there but i think you need to create a new account for your region OR i think you can modify your current existing one to suit the region.

Updating console and game patch, no problem then? (360) can double confirm? I saw from the internet Harvey Norman is selling for only AUD 200 (RM600) for ELITE VErSION 360!!

Yeah thats a good price, i recommend JB HIFI, they hav great deals on the Xbox 360.
