my super speed..

damn..been 2 or 3 days like this..anyone from kajang got same problem?..

i'm using umobile zte mf622 modem..maybe i got throttled after non-stop torrenting last weekend..gonna wait till next month for them to uncap..

is there any different on upload speed when we are using modem that supports HSUPA like the huawei E1762?

i got zte mf622 previously..the speed is exactly the same as my new huawei e1762..no different..

last 2years when u mobile launch, i signed up and took the package that come with free modem..rm78/month..the contract is 2years..the speed was blazing fast..even i can laugh at those streamyx users paying extra for slower and problematic connection..i can download all i want with no capping..after 2 years, they ask me to close the old account and make a new one to continue with rm68 package..but the drawback is, after 5gb, i got cap..damn..

for the charger, better u take ori one..my laptop last time i lost the charger, bought new one but cincai one, rm80 only..after few months laptop got problem..

yes..after u reach about 5gb, ur speed will be throttled down to 384kbps..still very nice if u use alone..but for me, since i share my connection with others, better use streamyx..now going to unsubscibe u mobile and go for streamyx..i like u mobile..very easy..no need wiring,no need call for technician to solve problem,cheaper,faster..i've been using umobile for more than 2 years..

one of the way to check the coverage is by using a 3g/3.5g hp..go to ur setting, select network selection, change to manual and ur phone will start scanning ur area until all the reachable signals been displayed, then select my18(u mobile network is named as my18)..then u can see on ur phone how strong the signal is..-this is for a typical phone only..your phone method might be different..

totally agree..just wait if they will increase the cap size or make it unlimited..

when will they expand their 42mbps speed?..b4 the end of this year?..any news?..

this must be the one that umobile use..the fastest modem that is available here mostly are 14.4mbps..

i remember watching this video few months ago..the news about umobile and ericsson must have sumtin to do with the technology in the video..

from what i know, izzi and amax also have no quota..izzi is too expensive and looks dead..the amax b4 they begin restructuring their network all of their packages are unlimited..for me amax maybe can be another option for streamyx..just wait until they start their business back..

U MOBILE SUBSCRIBERS CAN NOW ENJOY THE MICRO-SIM CARD

Kuala Lumpur, 6 October 2010 – U Mobile subscribers who own iPhone and iPad 3G can now get U Mobile standard Sim card converted to the Micro-Sim size.

They can do so by visiting any of U Mobile service centres nationwide and U Mobile customer service will be able to assist. Conversion to the Micro-Sim is free.

The Micro-Sim is specially developed for use in new releases of smart devices. Measuring at 15mm in width and 12mm in height, it is physically smaller in size compared to standard SIM card. The electrical contacts and circuitry of a Micro-Sim are identical to that of a standard SIM card.

“Looking at the current trend of smart devices development, U Mobile recognizes the need to provide the products and services which are compatible with the latest devices to enhance the user experience,” said Dr Kaizad Heerjee, CEO of U Mobile Sdn Bhd.

The Micro-Sim can be used with both Mobile Data and Broadband plans. Customers can sign up for U Broadband plans which are available from as low as RM6 per day to RM68 per month.

In September, U Mobile launched a special promotion offered for U Broadband plans (only available in Klang Valley) that start from as low as RM20 per month for data allowance of 2GB. During the promotional period, which ends 31st October 2010, a FREE modem will be given to subscribers who sign up for UB40 and UB68 with no contract attached. This gives subscribers the freedom of choice without being tied down to long term contracts.

u must be been capped with that speed..can call the cs to confirm this..

really?..when i ask them last time, straight away they check for me and tell me i am been capped..speed will only reset back to normal on the 1st of next month..
