Someone mind tell me the Lens Adapter (see: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=672153&hl=) is for adapting what lens? Is it really useful and used often?

Just found out from a seller that the Lumix lens adapter is for the filters.
Without it you can't use the filters.

Pls share what flashgun you use with your LX5.
