Hey Lx5er,

i need a camera for backpacking,

i cant decide from
1. G12, (all the control dial look nice, and the LCD screen)
2. Lx5, (wide angle, good lens)
3. Nex-3, (not really prefer the style/design, but the bigger sensor)

Someone mind tell me the Lens Adapter (see: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=672153&hl=) is for adapting what lens? Is it really useful and used often?

Thanks!

The adapter is for u to add on the UV CPL or other filter, close-up, wide angle, tele lens, step up and step down ring. Cokin P filter...
quite a lot of things u can add on the adapter. LAst thing is find out whats the size of the adapter...52mm 58mm 72mm? then u can buy the same size of filter to play with...

The viewfinder is just a "view" finder. Haha. some ppl like to shoot through the viewfinder(more classic feel?), or mayb save battery life then u can shoot more.

Please correct me if i m wrong...

Cheer~
