just now my xbox just got 3rrod. and yes its a JASPER set. i dont know whether its really happening or what.
i played about less than 5 hours before i turn it off. and then i let it rest about 1 hour plus. then i played it again suddenly the 3rrod appeared just after 30minutes of playing.

i turn the console off and turn it on again and everything back to normal.
but i just try it for awhile. i dont know how long its gonna last before the 3rrod appears again.

is this normal for a jasper set or what?

Jasper doesnt mean is 100% free from 3ROD.. just less chances I guess.

With warranty.. no worries bout it.

good that it still in the warranty. but if i send it back for repairs will it be okay?
i read somewhere that eventhough we've sent a 3rrod console for repair, the problem will still happening again.

now i just let it rest, and will try it again after 3-4 hours.

Basically Microsot will just swap the same console to you and unlike a normal repair, Microsoft's fix will have much less chance of recurrance.

My Falcon console (which I want to sell now....) claimed once at December 2007 and never fail until now no matter how I use it. FYI, I turn it on for 2 weeks and then shut it off for another week occassionally.

You may call their hotline @ +65-66221626 or if using TM landline, dail 02-66221626, get a ticket number and your new console will be ready tomorrow.

No need to care aboutthe code if you're sendingto SG loh.....

If the problem cannot be solved on the phone, then TS should send the console back to SG directly....

However, for ease of TS's reference for yhe error code, I think you should guide him how to obtain the code dude.

it just about 3weeks old. but it seems okay now. i think it might be the power cord problem as told by Ivan (tech two). i unplugged, plugged it back and tested. everything works like normal again. hope its gonna be fine.

i think this is nothing. as i posted there it might be just because of the power cord plug in problem.

Well, In my case my console display flickers few times for the bad power connection but works normally without problem when I use it on a faulty extension last time.

Cash converter?? Those cheapskate ******* will probably give you RM100 for it (maybe less). You're better off selling it in Garage Sales or give it away as charity to orphanage homes.

My Xenon kena 3rod then exchanged..And its still working fine till now

guys, my xbox now is currently back to normal again. no more 3rrod anymore for now.
i hope its not going to happen again and blablabla.
stupid rrod makes me shocked when i saw them appear.

and dude, dont sell your xbox to them. they will buy from you maybe like rm100-200.
and will sell it back with double the price they bought from you. like 400 or something.
thats really makes my friend and i annoyed when my friend sold his guitar to them.
they bought for rm200 and sell it back for rm400.
and the guy there told us that the price has dropped, now you can get only rm400 brand new for this and so on.

so dnt worry much with your jasper guys.
just make sure your power cord is in good connection before you get freak out like an alien saw humans.

Well, does anyone still sell NYKO Intercooler TS here in Malaysia? Mine was still good after I bought at Gamer's Hideout last year in February & still run pretty well.

Sometimes rrod easily came out if there are power trip or some loose contact on the cables , no worries .
