I just bought a M001 from evern last night. It was damn slow and the G sensor doesn't look like working at all. So i cook another ROM using the same kernel 2.6.29 and update the following module/driver:

Now the device work perfectly. I also manage to get Android Market running on the device (M001)

Its NOT a phone.. its a Android tablet PC.. since its an Android device you can update the module by compiling it and then Flash it into new ROM. The price for M001 and M002 is around RM320 to RM399. yes its look like iPad but its not.. again its running Android and I can customize Windows Mobile to be flashed into it

As for the rockchip, does the compony who produce it release the config (or full spec) for the kernel, else, i need the latest working firmware and extract it out.. it can be done as well

my friend said that rockchip chipset is faster.. looking forward to cook ROM for it

Added on July 29, 2010, 4:16 pmi'm not ready to say YES, but i've read somewhere... the biggest issues is, .config (kernel configuration) is not shared by the M001 and M002 developer. So we cant really recompile the kernel. The reason I cook another Android 1.7 is because the kernel is reusable (from the official kernel )
