I submitted my very own Wordpress theme here and it was rejected, saying that my theme was not up to standard and doesn't meet their criteria.



Anyone sold their Wordpress theme here? Any advice?

Come on la...Have you seen what kind of quality and design that the themes in the TF have?

Not to ridicule you but I think I can better looking free WordPress themes if compared with your...

Learn how to differentiate what looks good and what not 1st.

at least ur website must have jquery to boost effect... and make a better layout

no hard feeling.. but i can alot of TF templates is really worth and good....

thanks. i'm currently into jquery and stuff, it's a lot simpler than i thought . wordpress theme is head-scratching though.

u need to learn css, php(a lil bit), mootools, jquery to make a good beautiful, unique templates and website..

yes, your theme is still far from those themes listed in Themeforest.net. but, one thing I realized is that most of the themes listed in Themeforest.net may be aesthetic for the eyes but are not too focused on SEO and other things such as usability.

perhaps, you can start by exploring, buying and testing other premium themes and try to build something so good that everyone wants to own it, i.e. like Thesis theme.

post title size not same size in single.php and index/home.php

text padding no good.

comment form is ugly. how come text area so far away form input.

your rainbow can easily done with background top right.

make the code shorter and semantic.

not only for you to understand. but for buyer to customize and use it.

Wait, I'm not following. What 3 letters and what bright red and green?

I prefer clean code, systematic code to make it easy for visitors to understand just in case if they find something they like, it'll be easy to locate the specific CSS code.

Whats wrong with the borders?

The h3 for the entry is to seperate the content, as if its another section. I made sure it aligned to the right so that it'll look more different compared to the post title.

At certain points I totally agree, but next time please don't use kopitiam styled language here, its not that easy to understand.

then, i make learn wp structure, php, html and css to make my own theme.

most of the time, i use modified starkers framework from ejs.

it is really easy. just make sure. once you open, you need to close it back.
