The overall performance of the team was good, barred a moment of lapse in concentration by Juve especially Sorenson. Had we taken our chances to make it 3 - 0 Chievo would truly had been dead and buried. The performance and the chance missed by Iaquinta proves that we lack a cutting edge infront of goal. Iaquinta makes for a very good substitute striker as he can occasionally score the odd goal and his physicality can bring something different to our play if things are not going well. But we seriously need someone with more quality upfront.

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Dec 23 2010, 05:10 PM) We don't need Cassano. We have FABIO QUAGLIARELLA. Only forward we need now is finisher type like Dzeko. I'm sick & tired with the deadwood (Iaquinta/Amauri) striker we got now Agreed. It is a pain to see Iaquinta play, but it is a torture to see Amauri play Anyway, it is official that Rafa Benitez has been sacked by Inter. That guy rejected Juve's approach thinking that he would stand a better chance of winning more things with Inter than Juve, now he has gotten himself sacked. Serves him right Seems like it is a blessing in disguise we missed out on Rafa |

The January transfer is approaching... I wonder if we are able to get our transfer targets.. We have not been making big-names signings since 2006
I hope Dzeko will join us.. Maybe its a fool's hope |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Dec 28 2010, 04:18 PM) i have faith in Beppe Marotta. BTW Juve doesn't get used to bringing 5=star player even from pre-calciopoli era. We bought Zidane, Buffon, Nedved, Ibra when they're Hmm valid point on the Zidane Nedved they all less known & the likes of Camoranesi & Chiellini when they are never known outside Italy. So its safe to say we rarely bought star player but created them the name dat keep crossing my head right now is Marco Di Vaio. i think he could be the temporary solution until next summer transfer But I think Thuram can be considered a star signing. My gosh, those were the days... Ferrara, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Thuram, Buffon I like the point Snowfish made on Rafa.. Thank GOD he went to Inter.. |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Dec 29 2010, 09:32 AM) remind me of UCL final 2003 and defeating the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid on the way...those were the days.. Agreed on the "Gila" part heheyup...if compare our current team with back then... Only Chiellini, Krasic, Marchisio, Aquilani, Melo(this season), Quagliarella are good enough to play with Nedved, Thuram, Zambrotta, Conte etc². But yups we're on the way back heading there slowly right now.. btw last news i read was Juve offering Amauri + 10m euro to Fiorentina for an exchange with Gilardino. Well i think many will say both are flop. Amauri was proven flop but Gilardino only flopped at Milan & Italian national team while he score goals for fun during his time at Parma & Fiorentina. I don't want to comment anything but considering Italian usually did well with Juve...so i hope this move will get through. Last time i spur negative comment about Quag..now he proved me wrong...so i will on my 'silent mode' with Gila Juve always try to create a family like type of environment for their players...That is very important for team-spirit. The following players has really played their way into the fans heart, or at least into my heart hehe this season: - Simone Pepe for his play me in any position and I will give 100% as long as the team is doing well type of attitude - Nicola Leggrottalie for his comments on keeping the team's feet on the ground and continue to work hard - Giogio Chiellini for his bleeding head, broken nose and yet still fight on for Juve type of attitude - Felipe Melo for his never give up attitude eventhough he had a nightmare last season. The way he celebrated for blocking an Inter player's goal bound effort is pure Black and White spirit! - Alberto Aquilani's proffesional approach and quality that he adds to our midfield - Fabio Quaq for surprising everyone with his goal scoring and the fact that he has taken alot of the goal scoring burdens from the ineffective Iquainta and the utter useless Amauri - And of course our Captain Del Piero for coming on ever now and then to save the team from draws or defeat This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Dec 29 2010, 09:54 AM |

Roque Santa Cruz a useful player he may be, but I dont see him adding much to our team.
Most of the quality Strikers are snapped up.. I wonder who we can go for at the end of the season... Lazio's Rocchi? Milan's Inzaghi? |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Jan 6 2011, 09:30 PM) Final score 1-4. Marco Storari 7/10 - Keep the score down with some excellent saves but was ultimately let down with some shocking defending by his teamatesNice new year beating we got. Just what we need. Still no new reinforcement in transfer windows.. Dzeko slipped from our grasp. Now get trash with the team who struggling and have a couple of Juve player(& former) in it. Not to mention 3 goals were scored by 2 of em Back to the square one Fabio Grosso 5.5/10 - Contributed little in terms of attack after the Melo sending off. Contributed equally little in terms of defending. Gave long balls away on a number of occassion Giogio Chiellini 5.5/10 - Not his usual self in the absence of Leonardo Bonucci. Gave away a needless penalty just when his team looked like coming back Nicola Leggrotalie 4/10 - Poor positioning. The weak link in defense along with Sorenson all afternoon. The goal he scored can only save him the blushes of being given anything more than a 4 Federik Sorenson 5/10 - Held his own during the first half but was unable to cope with the attack that came down his flank in the second Felipe Melo 3/10 - It was his sending off that started the Juve catapulation to Parma Alberto Aquilani 6/10 - Was overrun in midfield after the sending off of Melo. Had to do a two person job in midfield Claudio Marchisio 5.5/10 - Did little to help Aquilani out after being shifted to the centre of midfield. Gave the ball away cheaply on a number of occasion eventhough he did cover alot of the groud with his hard running Milos Krasic 5.5/10 - A quiet game by his standards. Contributed little and unable to go pass his player Fabio Quagliarella - N/A Alessandro Del Piero - N/A Simone Pepe 6/10 - One of the few players whom actually can be spared the criticism tonight. Took the corner that resulted in the goal and was denied a great fk goal by the woodwork Amauri Cavarlho 3.5/10 - Contributed very little in terms of holding up the ball, bringing teammates into play and even headers. With him up front, sometimes Juve looked like they were playing with 8 men This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 6 2011, 09:48 PM |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Jan 7 2011, 08:28 AM) they indirectly shown to Marotta & LDN the mistake by lettin them go. Gio, Candreva etc.. No to mention Trez also. The Lanzafame transfer was really shocking. He lacks all the attributes to be even considered a Juve sub. And we sign Pepe & Lanzafame & let Amauri stays the bolded part, lemme correct it for u. It should be "worst performing striker with sky high wage but zero value" Based on what happened yesterday. The following two scenarios will happen: - Unable to score goals (Quag is injured, Iaquinta is injured) Amauri is playing. When he plays, Juve will not score goals. It is truly shocking to see that for a powerful frame like his, he is unable to stay on his feet. He is unable to keep his mouth shut too.. Always complaining to the referee - Unable to keep out goals (With Bonucci injured) Nicola Leggrotalie (The defender version of Amauri). When he plays, Juve will concede goals. Leggro is truly past it. |

I got a feeling that:
- Next season Giovinco will remain in Parma permanently - Quag will go back to Napoli - Aquilani will go back to Liverpool - We will buy Pepe permanently - Amauri will still stay - We will buy players of the standard of Giandomenico Mesto to replace Aquilani - Andrea Bazagli will join us - Luca Toni's and Marco Motta's loans will be extended |

When others are signing Edin Dezko we signed Luca Toni..
I really hate to admit it, but along with Liverpool FC, our days as a power club in Europe are over. Who knows, together with Liverpool we might become history just like Leeds Utd and Nottingham Forrest.. I now seriously doubt that they will sign Aquilani and Quag at the end of the season.... Pepe and Sorenson will be signed, loan deals for Toni and Marco Motta will be extended This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 8 2011, 11:38 AM |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Jan 9 2011, 10:56 AM) er...really eh? I think Liverpool might be smarter than that.. For sure they have learn their lesson after Poulsen job Hehehe I doubt Amauri can score even if he plays for a division two side i doubt any team want Amauri right now, even if we offer him + cash to future club |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Jan 9 2011, 05:02 PM) oooo Toni already in the called-up list eh? Well i hope he started along with Del Piero. We all already knows what Amauri capable off (e.g unable to score goals, limited the teamplay Agreed. Toni should definitely start instead of the useless Amauri. Go Toni!& the team unable to win when he start), so im looking forward to what the so-called "pass-it" Toni can do. This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 9 2011, 06:02 PM |

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Jan 10 2011, 12:03 AM) Roma lose, Milan draw, Lazio lose, Inter won. According to goal.com/en, Quag has returned to Napoli. In tears.. First point of my prediction may be coming true. Juve will not sign Quag because he is too "expensive". Latest rumuor is that Juve is looking to bring in former Juve, Man City and Parma flop Valeri Bojinov to replace Quag. MY GOODNESS!!!!! If we won against Napoli tonite we'll be on the chase of UCL spot once again.. But im highly doubt, bcoz Juve like to screw themselves when thing looks like in our way This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 10 2011, 12:20 AM |

QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ Jan 10 2011, 10:35 AM) The goals were really pooor poor marking. It could have been prevented. Oh well, I guess the Amauri curse is really true for this season. Everytime he plays, we lose! Del Neri has followed the foot steps of Ferrara and Zacherroni by fielding two big clumsy centre forwards I don't think Storari can sleep well these few days. Poor dude. Oh well, LDN, use this time to verify if your backup plan works in the case of situation like this so that we won't be caught off guard next season. 6th 7th place finish here we go The problems of last season have resurfaced. Once it resurfaced, there is no stopping our slide now This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 10 2011, 11:57 AM |

QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ Jan 10 2011, 12:17 PM) With our current squad, I rather have a tighter midfield with Toni upfront as a lone striker. In truth, I never expected Juve to win the title right from the beginning. But from the way things are going, a UCL might be a big ask also. I think we can still qualify for UCL, just that don't expect to win the title Added on January 10, 2011, 6:00 pm QUOTE(SnoWFisH @ Jan 10 2011, 04:33 PM) I wonder will Buffon's return make any difference or not. Morale must be pretty low with Quag's injury. The squad's confidence might be dent, but I am pretty sure Del Neri and Marotta's will not because they have faith in Amauri and have signed Luca Toni This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 10 2011, 06:00 PM |

Reports said that eventhough Forlan's transfer will not command a high fee, his salary will. Juve's management is really strange.. They rather let Amauri command a high salary than Forlan

QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Jan 15 2011, 11:33 AM) for the time being. He's the only senior striker we got.. But i hope we can play the trident like we did vs Catania Lol Amauri Carvalho again. But the problem is we only got Sissoko to cover both Marchisio & Aquilani in the MF...and im having less faith in him bcoz i can't remember how many time Momo accidentally 'assist' our opposition. nice word by Martinez..hope can prove dat on the pitch..Unlike the 'you-know-who' After what we have seen so far, linking us to players like Floro Flores, I really doubt that Marotta will spend big in the summer. Heck I am even skeptical about Aquilani being able to remain with us. I got a feeling players like Gian Domenico Mesto or Fabio Liverani will join us This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jan 15 2011, 05:59 PM |
