Juz to find out more which is more prefered among wc modders here when comes to these two chassis, Obsidian 800D or TJ-07, both r greate for wc modding.

I might get one of these for my future chassis upgrade.

I think a bay res would be the most suitable too.
Wow...i can't really picture it but that is something new. Might google for that, thanks  notworthy.gif
Yeah...did that...most of the peeps were using either bay res or a mcres or those 2 in 1 pump/res combo  laugh.gif

Chassis weight would not be part of my concern since I don't move or carry the chassis ard occasionally.

But the gd thing abt alluminium compare to steel would be better shielding againts electronic interference. doh.gif Out topic, sorry.

If weight is Ur priority concern, many Lian Li cases r great too.

Kotak? PC-A77 looks like katak tongue.gif JK

So U think the PC-A77 has better wc expandability than the 2 mentioned?

Can any1 think of a better chassis than the 2 mentioned for wc? cause I don't find there is any better than these 2 unsure.gif

Swifech pumps are rebranded Laing pumps.

Swiftech MCP655 is actually a rebranded Laing D5, etc.....

Yeah rec'd the rad n CrystalLink tube in good condition thx!
Waiting for the Classy n R3E blocks n Bits fittings etc
A modded TJ07 with 3pcs of rads in dual loops hehe
high cfm fans push pull sure will make noise, but in return a better performance
*
Like the one Ur currently using, 6XScythe 1,900rpm fans emmiting 37dBA per each. But since TFC X-changer is a low fpi radiator , I believe it doesn't really need a high cfm fan to work well, this kindda of radiator is designed for silent fans.

I do believe Ur 6XScythe 1,900rpm fans if attached on a high fpi radiator would be excellent , Im talking bout 3X120 radiator, push n pull.

Laing invented the pump and they "sell" the technology for others to make it. It's the same like ATI/nVidia cards, for example ATI designs and makes the 5870 GPU and we have all these manufacturers making cards for 5870 (today we have reference and non-reference design). Are they all the same? smile.gif Some are more expensive, some are cheaper, some has high RMA rates and some are low so you have the answer.

The concept works the same way smile.gif
*
So I guess I was wrong. This is not a rebranding at all, it's all bout the reference?

So does Swiftech manufacture the MCP655 or Laing?

Thanks for the clarification and correction notworthy.gif

My MCP655 is being run with DC12V, what if it's being run with DC24V? I'm guessing the output in Watt would be incresed huh?

Interesting.

Due to the low amparage, there is no performance gain.

Pointless feeding 24V into this pump. shakehead.gif

Leave it opened due to U might fill up the reservoir after system has got bleeded. Air escaped and will eventually lower the water level.

Ya, precaution.

U drive Ur car and U knew accident rate in M'sia is very high, so for "precaution", I guess U have installed a roll cage in your car, and when U drive U wear safety helmet and fireproof suite huh? rclxub.gif

U call dis "shit" or "precaution"?

lol, adding post count by flaming other people. very mature and brilliant...

Only those brats who hv eaten too full, nothing to do and sitting in front of the pc daily and being fed by their parents like they were still a baby sucking on pacifier would concern and care for the "post count".

Already a "handicap" and I guess the "post count" and their wc stuff bought by their daddy n mummy would be the only 2 things tht make em feel honourable huh.

Were U trying to say in other countries's forum U can use harse languages and juz bcoz this is M'sia forum, it's not advisable to use harsh languages?

And U have said " a polite country's forum", so does tht mean those forums U can use harse languages are forums frm rude countries? rclxub.gif

FPI = fin per inch... which means number on fin on the radiator per inch of the length of the radiator...

the fin here is the zig zag metal on the radiator... higher FPI doesnt directly relate to higher performance... the heat dissipation of a radiator, much depends on fan used couple with the radiator...

lower FPI (like the ekwb) usually means (not applicable to all radiator) the radiator work nicer with mid/low fan and higher FPI (like the mighty HWlabs GTX and GTS) will need higher rpm fan to really show the FPI power...

and higher rpm fan means higher the noise generation...
*
So what if high r.p.m. fans with low cfm or static pressure? Only the speed of the fan motor matters?
