Well dont know bout the 590 block from EK but my 580 blocks are pretty much bye bye now so i wont be getting EK anymore.

My 590s arriving today ill be air cooling for now tqvm rather than wasting 1k on blocks and have to take it all down like before ...

yes actually not only coke any fizzy drink will do but apparently coke works best. just make sure lots of fizz, put in a big cup, throw ur waterblock (in ur case the base plate only) and wait 10 minutes. Rinse it with distilled after that and u r good to go.

Oxidation will reappear though after a period of time.

aiya leakage is normal lah..
that's why leak test is very important before powering up ur rig.
I think T-connector is very useful for draining.

During Raya I managed to put the EK 3 SLI bridge on my GTX580s. Found some problems...
Slanted a lil bit haiz.
And noticed that the CPU loop coolant becomes a lot brighter than the GPU loop. Need to top up some blood red dye bomb again.
I cant put my Xonar D2X onto the last PCIEX4 slot due being blocked by the EK FC link. Don't know whether an PCIE riser cable will fix this or not as I wana put the sound card on top of the mobo afraid will be hit by compression fittings from the top rad.
Might dump this EK bridge and go back to better looking Bitspower Crystal link tube+adapter combo.

may i know how long time it will take to remove air bubble?

being running the rig for 14hrs++, there are bubbles from time to time and the water level in res is reducing.

now left 1/2 water instead of 2/4 initially.

Just shake your rig otherwise anywhere from few days to few weeks depending on your setup.

Distill water if left in the sun or opened will promote algae growth. Just get biocide. Silver killcoil is still best, just dont drink the water afterwards......

If you want your fish to die and your tank to be clean then yes it will work.... fish tank needs algae and micro organism to break down waste ie all your fish pee and poos.

Should google cycling fish tank and you will find out dennos.
