Yea, Marantz sound very clean. For movies, use the EQ to boost bass and other freq range. A lot of other tweaking can be done to cover shortcoming. But the sound quality is really good. And Marantz is cheaper also. Extra money can buy Telos RCA caps. Then, your Marantz will be as quiet as black hole no need to think twice..
