It doesn't matter even if Arsenal buys a 27 year old keeper if the Polish kid is the next keeper. Arsenal can use the 27 y.o. keeper for 2-3 years then sell for profit. It doesn't have to be a 38 y.o keeper to hold the fort until the youngster is ready.

I fail to see how realistic it can be to have a first choice keeper that plays all competitive games AND to have him as the goalkeeper coach at the same time. Schwarzer can get his (backup) player + coach role next season when he's no longer contracted.

AW should fork out for a late 20 y.o. keeper.
