i have been receiving mix answer from SA
some said still below 4%, some said already 4%

The best is to personally seek the interest rate directly from the bank. Usually SA will tell their customers in term of range from what rate to what rate coz they dont know it for sure. Coz the rate are more or less depends on what bank u choose & the current financial status of the borrower.

Yaa..when i bought my Wira 1.3 Aeroback back on 2001, i got 4.9% for 9 years of loan. That's a whole lot of different if compared to 2.9% i got for the Forte now

so which bank offer the most reasonable interest rate now?
*
When i seek for the lowest interest rate for car loan last time (back to November 2009), Affin & CIMB offers the best rate which are 2.8 & 2.85% (9 years) respectively. But i decided to choose Maybank instead for hassle free repayment (autodebit from my salary account) though it gives me 2.9%

Congrats bro. This club should be a subset to our main myforteclub right?

mine 2.0 can go more than 450km per tank, 80-90% city drive.
*
Me also reaching that figure for a full tank, can say 80% city driving with several bad traffic jams + long idling (waiting). I conclude that as acceptable

well, nope, it's different from myforteclub...
well, this club had few different events and more exciting(mayb Johor MFC got)
this club will b whole lot more exciting ...can't compare with MFC coz i nv join any activities of MFC b4....
izputra.....when u come back, let me knw....
*
So, if your club is not a subset to MFC & be like a stand-alone club, MFC members (from other states) cannot joint your club & all of its activities/events as well right? I'm still on the same opinion as bro KFC & other MFC members that is to unite all forte owners under 1 roof (MFC) so that all the members will get the recognizable benefits. Be a subset to MFC by zone (i.e. Kedah/Perlis MFC) in my opinion is better. Many stand-alone clubs will just shows no unity among the Forte owners. It's just my own perception/opinion bro..hopefully no hard feeling icon_rolleyes.gif

By the way, i planned to balik kampung for Hari Raya from 6-11 September. Quite near to Hari Raya i must say to join mini TT there if any..see howlah then rolleyes.gif

and where's the fortezenship and fortezen spirit of yours? biggrin.gif
*
Yaa bro Arif, that's why i personally prefer us to unite under 1 main club coz it shows our unity & fortezenship. I personally feels that different name/club for fortezen will hardly contribute to that purposes. But luckily all of the 'Kedah Perlis Kia Forte Owners Club (KPKFOC)' members also joining MFC..so i can see our fortezenship there. Only that KPKFOC members can join MFC activities/events, but sad to say that it doesn't work the other way round sweat.gif Again, this is my personal opinion & by no means trying to make it controversial between both clubs.

actually MFC can be successful nationwide if we have active owners in different region.

so sad coz u choose to form new club and not joining us to get benefit for fortezens in general.

I placed my order for a SX on 31 Jul in Penang. On 2 Aug the bank called saying my loan has been approved. I booked for a Metal Bronze. Then a week later, 8 Aug I changed my mind as I think the colour Metal Bronze was too gloomy for me. I requested for a change to white. I added I wouldn't mind a Titanium Silver too. To my surprise my very patient SA said he would see what he could do. I was told the waiting period was about two months.

Today I got another call from the bank asking me when can I meet to sign the loan agreement. I asked the lady what's the rush. She told me the car has been allotted to me!  rclxm9.gif

So you may not have to wait that long.
*
SX..1.6 or 2.0? for 1.6, now can get the car in 1-2 weeks time provided that no fussy on the choice of colour but for 2.0 maybe have to wait longer than that

BHP Petrol station was like...erm, 12km from my place....is abt 20 mins drive, the 1 and only BHP station in alor setar...another nearest station is Mobil....which is around, erm, 3-4mins drive depends on traffic....
i wanna knw...is Shell RON95 sooooo weak??? compare to it's RON97 which is sooooooo strong.....

oh ya...isn't there anyway 2 keep good fc using stock rims?? i dun like change rims coz the speedometer will show unaccurate speed...juz like my AE101...even use digital speedometer, also the same...(eg. 130km/h, meter shows around 110km/h only)
*
I think what is bro sham trying to say is change to lighter rims & use back the same tyres. It should do good to FC. Or perhaps can downgrade to 16" rims (which is much lighter) & use 205/55 tyres; that should not effect the speedometer reading by much as the circumference of the tyre+rim is almost the same.

For good FC (besides being a light footer) is to keep your car as light as possible, correct tyre pressure & drive at a moderate speed (if possibe rolleyes.gif )

Damn..how i wish our forte comes with option for sunroof. I dont mind paying extra 3k for it. If this news is true, those 32 units are extremely a rare species.

How much comfort will a 16" compare to 17". Say both are lightweight rim ?
*
I'm thinking the same like u. To change to 16" for better comfort (& perhaps better FC). I've been driven by KFC in his car (with 16" rims), all i can say that it is much better in term of comfort without sacrificing much on the car's look. I will seriously looking forward to replace my 17" rims to 16" after the current tyres worn out. But as far as 16" rims with 5 holes is concern, it is quite limited in design i have to say. Most of 5-holes-rim are 17" & above.
