froyo update for SGS perhaps would fix everything up.. the wierd thing is, why does all US SGS seems ok? they did not report a single thing during review etc.. DroidX GSM version perhaps would take a while to reach here, seeing the pace, perhaps by time it came out, much better phones are out.. DroidX if were to be released here surely would be around feb/march since there is still no such announcement yet.. Milestone 2 seems slow to be released too

its 8MP isnt it? ive seen some of the samples but what i see is due to the megapixels but not the sensors.. the iPhone4 has a very good sensor indeed thus 5MP was actually enough..  its sensor versus megapixels and megapixels dosent actually portay the quality of the end product..

i do hope HTC Desire HD 8MP wont be dissapointing, at least its decent.. otherwise no use of the upgrade compared to other 5MP camera phones

The batter should be able to slide out from the bottom. Because its unibody design, it doesnt have a large battery cover. Same like the HTC Legend

where did you read it is tft?  It is SLCD.

actually there is no actual detail from htc. it is big argument about its screen: TFT, SLCD or else... no body knows yet.

Yes.. i should add the processor & GPU in my CONS. I never try SGS or Motorola's Froyo, but my nexus one is about 5X faster when upgraded; thanks to JIT VM.

Front camera is an option, im ok to without it. But the screen quality is key; 800x400 for TFT and SLCD/Amoled/Super Amoled, really make differences.

Internal memory still an issue. According to my nexus one froyo, even though it has App2SD but there is still some files stored inside, especially those games. Its not like WM, can store the whole file externally. Some more not all app enable App2SD.

Actually i have lost my nexus one, looking to get another android phone. Too bad that since N1 launched in Jan, HTC still not able to produce another breakthrough product. SGS or DHD....still thinking

Seriously with such big screen HTC should think to upgrade the resolution for the screen, take for example, i have both Galaxy S & Iphone 4, & i compared both side by side, eventhough SGS using super amoled screen & Iphone 4 just LCD, but due to the Iphone 4 have higher resolution it really look amazing, you can't find any 'pixel' on the screen.

well ask yourself: if the DHD turns out to be only SLED will you still buy it?

Personally i rather be having a screen that works best under the sun. I cant even remember how many time i was under the sun and cant read my phone. Take the iphone 4 for example, IPS LCD that most ppl use for colour accuracy... I do not remotely know why I would do photo editing (where colour accuracy is the most crucial requirement) on an iphone.
