anyway our Mini memang dun have to think as we only have 64ram/64rom. XDA IIs and IIi still have a chance but not the official way. Its a risk they take ler....

Noob question here...
For xda IIs, how can i backup my sms to pc?
look in what folder?
and is there any recommended english-chinese 2 way dictionary for win 2003SE?

and can i use mp3 file as sms alert and clock alarm? any software to do that?

Hi all,

I am new to o2 mini

I hav a small problem here......

when i took out the battery and put in another sim card and press on the power switch,
the fone start up BUt there is no back light...........although can see tat the fon is ady on...

BUt when i plug the sync cable into the mini, the backlight came on.....

and the backlight goes off again when i pull cable back off from the mini

pls help

Normally when that happens I press and hold the power button for a few seconds. Either that or just press the power button once or twice. It comes back on for me.

ya lar ... good but service is ok lor !!
always got problem after few months..
mine - vibrator got problem after 1/2 year .. never drop .. but how much spoil .. also dono y ...!

ish, vibration function problem ar? Lucky mine is still going strong. One other thing I try to preserve in my MINi is the touchscreen and the speaker. I never blast at Maximun volume and never be rough with the screen. I remind myself not to tap too hard and use a good screen protector(Martin Fields) for protection.

yes u can use as mp3 ringtone and alarm

for alarm i use pocketclock and for ringtone i use phonealarm....google it

actually i know wat is the problem wif my mini now
i accidententatly decreased the brightness level to zero.......
then when i press the side button only i know why this happens
frankly i din use this mini for sometimes cause playing wif 3g fon now

sorry if this question have been answered before. i've tried to search this forum for the answer but can't seems to find one...

i use Jeyo Mobile Companion 1.1 to backup my sms and phone book to the pc. But I've yet to find a software that can backup my MMS. is there a software for that?

or how do you guys backup ur MMS into the PC?

Hi, juz got my O2 XdaII mini a few days ago. Great to hv a thread like this.
Can i ask, does anyone know how to totally turn off the phone b4 taking out the bat/SIM? It seems like if i press the on/off button, the screen will go off but not the whole device, the manual said press longer to off the whole thing (this only turn off back light). If take out the battery juz like that, afraid might spoil d OS.


BTW, can this phone support MP3 ringtone? Coz the manual said only wave n .wma.

Another thing, O2 r having promotion tour at Low Yat Plaza starting from 10th April. Does anyone know will they provide upgrade to Windows Mobile 2005, if got, do u think the WM2005 got a lot of prob wif O2 mini?
