if you're using SPB Pocket PLus, you can customise the "close button" to fully close programs when you run it and not leave it running in the background. And set you memory allocation more to programs than to storage. that way you can run many programs at once.

I have bought My 02 mini for 2-3 months now.. actually a bit regret not waiting for Atom.. Anyway.. Is there any way to improve the camera quality of mini? I notice the its camera sucks a lot.. Very dark with many noise. Is there any update etc that can solve the problem...? Although it is 1.3 mgpixel it is far Worse than those samsung 1.3 mgpixel hp camera. Thanks. I've seen Atom photo quality is much much better..sad.gif

Well...ATOM quality is better but there is lag when you move the cam around. Still not 100% that device. As for the Mini you can increase the picture quality but you'll do some adjustments. Best if you can get a registry editor program and set the camera settings to be permanent from there. Or not just go to camera mode->camera settings-->tools-->adjust--> then set the contrast at 5,brightness 5,saturation 4,hue 5 and sharpness 10. Note that when you change ambience, the setting will go back to default.....

What i really frustrated about its camera is.. When it is view in the LCD screen it looks perfectly fine.. But when u Capture, the photo seems pixelate with many noise.. very not smooth. The setting i've check just now.. it seems the setting u suggest is exactly the same as the default setting.. can you tell me more on the registry editor program you talking about? THanks for d tips anyway, only now i know i can set d brightness contrast etc..

I had the same problem with the camera as well, I tried tweaking it but still picture quality is bad. I sent my Mini to O2 SC in Berjaya and they had my camera changed and also the software (not really sure what software).. After that, I'm really satisfied with the picture quality my Mini..
ps.. My Mini still under warranty at that time... so everything is free..

Hmm... there are a few registry editors and mostly some Mini users opt for PHM RegEdit which you can get it @ Pocket PC Freeware

Maybe you could got to MyPDACafe and checkout some hacking stuff compiled by them @ O2 XDA II Mini How To's
or even go to PocketPCTweaks @ PocketPCTweaks

Bear in mind, if you are tweaking your Mini, be xtra careful...

well, an atom now costs abt RM900-1000 more than the mini. this amount would go a long way towards subsidizing the cost of a dedicated digicam. moral of the story - you cant have your cake and eat it too. if the atom only cost RM2000, i would have bought it too! again, different products for different price segments......basic marketing tool.....

Im using PHM Reg Edit for tweaking that. You can also tweak other things besides your camera using guidance from this site.

My camera settings had to be tweaked to the figures I gave you. Maybe yours has aleady been tweaked.

to all pros out there, 2 questions:
1. will my mini be damaged if i use my fingers instead of the stylus on the touchscreen?

2. the screen now shows "incoming call - answer/ignore" and i cant get rid of it, even though i have answered the call. how do i eliminate this thing?

thanks guys!!!!!
