Converting? No leh. Honest.

Anyway O2 Mini still holds a special place in my heart being the sleekest and only all metal pda-phone around. Exception for the XDAIIi.

Nowadays they make them in plastic to save on weight. But the devices don't feel as solid as the O2 Mini. Atom was having fingerprint issues, Atom Exec was a better matte finish but still wasn't metal.

O2 mini Still Rox  notworthy.gif The father of them all.......

yeah mini feels cold and slippery in an air cond. room
metal feel ma................

but got one part plastic........the top back part ( the antena/camera/speaker part)
if tat part is aluminium the fon signal will be deflected away fr the fon........

Welcome to Lucifer too! Battery life Palm wins la, but its cos Mini is oso a Phone ma. Battery life is not bad, every night charge if wanna hear MP3s, leave few apps minimized, some Skyforce Reloaded and probably some Bluetooth-ing here and there. Also for SMS and moderate calls incoming and outgoing. I charge mine 2 days once if only SMS and use phone functions. Other forumers give comments please!

bro, actually when you sync the mini wif da notebook its ady charging ady.....
everytime i sync my mini wif my pc/nb, i din even use the charger at all...... thumbup.gif

U can get bluesoleil for mini from xda-developer

Different network system might have different setting, so i can't sure it will work for u.

My notebook configuration :
1. windows xp SP2
2. streamyx with PPPoE dialer
3. bluesoleil bluetooth usb dongle
steps:
a. install bluesoleil driver
b. look for Personal Area Networking - properties
c.  in work mode select Access LAN Network then select my ethenet card which
    connect to internet.
d. goto control panel select network connection and setup a home network, then
share PPPoE to my local Area connection

In mini:
a. install bluesoleil bluetooth stack for mini
b. goto setting - connection - network cards, select BT network adapter
c. ip: 192.168.0.136
    subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    default gateway: 192.168.0.1
    Dns: 192.168.0.1
d. done, reset mini
e. In bluetooth manager, search for device then start the PAN service.
f. Start browsing the web with mini.

A better solution for Big Storage !
1) Backup all the data
2) Hard-reset ur MINI
3) After setting up the time, desktop screen showing up. A small menu "New  Program Installing in 7 Seconds" appears.
4) Quickly Soft-reset ur MINI before ur mini auto installing software !
5) TA-DA, big storage now !!

if you enable this, definately there will be some drawlback rite?? doh.gif
