so with heavy advertising, customers are thinking they have iphone alternative. unfortunately soon after customers discover the severe crippling weakness (ady mentioned many obvious times) of android system, i'm sure they will be desperate to wait until their telcos contract finish to dump off de phone. and then, u will see de dreadful impact on android sales.
lastly, being a nerd/geek is not meant as an insult. remember bill gates is also a geek...so there is no shame in being one.

Some people, they want their phone just to be able to do a certain sets of functions, and to do it well.
Some people, they prefer flexibility to cater many different types of functions
iOS and android, they cant please both people.
Its just that many people think they are complex at first, but actually end up preferring simple, thus why you get more returns for Android.
Its like having an apartment vs having a house. Some people prefer the small place, easier to manage, less clutter, easier to clean. And some people, they prefer having a big house, even tho its harder to clean and manage, because they need the space to do many other things.
Are people prefering apartments idiots? No its just that they like it that way, and its their preference. Are people that want houses idiots? No, same again as above.
So people, please stop bashing the OS. Just bash the idiots that thinks the inventor of apartments (aka iOS) is a god
. People need to stop worshiping Apple.
