The amount of money you pay for an iPhone, you might regret once you realize how un-customizable it is.

And if you like Linux, forget about the iPhone. You will have a hell of a time transferring files because iPhones need iTunes installed on a machine before it can transfer anything. Whereas Android phones come with SDCards which are just detected as normal USB disks.

The only real advantage of the iPhone is it's huge app store and generally better-quality apps.

If you ever get into a situation where you need to share files by BlueTooth, the RM3k+ iPhone is going to make you malu when your friend with his cheap Nokia phone can do it but you can't.

I love all my 3 phones but I only sleep with one.

Which one? brows.gif

When I am ask by my friends which is better, my answer is always all are best and I will explain each feature to them. Based on my explanation, they can then decide which is best for them.

I agree with this. I don't think Android is for everybody. Sometimes it can be quite frustrating to use. I wouldn't recommend an Android to my mother, whom I know still uses classic candybar phones.

For those who know me personally I pity those chaps who just like to critiicize just for the sake of it. I always view them as possessing an inferior complex and ranting against others a sign of self importance and self gratifica

I'm an iPhone developer, but I have a HTC Hero, and I can see there are some things that iPhone does better than Android. The hardware and software is integrated better. The iPhone GUI feels faster, although it lacks Android's customizability.

One thing I've noticed is that Android has brought a lot of co-operation from users of different brands. Motorola, HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson... we all use different brands but united by Google's OS. smile.gif

Wow, Android leading. Maybe the Apple Byte folks haven't seen the poll yet.

Anyway this article gives another reason why people get pissed off with Apple.
Why the Hell Did Apple Pull Camera+ From the App Store?

I'm an iPhone developer. I don't know what "more natural touchscreen" means. The iPhone capacitive screen is about the same as any other capacitive screen out there. If you're talking about kinetic scrolling, the iPhone does it slightly better than many other phone models, like Nokia's, but otherwise it's hardly different from Android's.

and i dun think u r iphone developer if u kenot appreciate de system and say it's almost same like android.
please study more. if u willing to buy me lunch, i can teach u a tip or two.

Erm, I really am an iPhone developer. It's my day job. smile.gif
You ask me to study more, what exactly? I already know Objective-C, and I'm familiar with the latest XCode IDE and iPhone SDKs.
And it's not that I don't appreciate the system, but to me the touchscreen is really not much different from Android.
The kinetic scrolling might be slightly better, but it's just an algorithm, and not much different from HTC Sense or LauncherPRO.
