hi all. i need some help over here. i have setup a paludarium. i need some plants in the water and i know nothing about them. k. basically i need 3 types of plant. 1. carpet grass. 2. plant that can emerge from water surface 3. short plant that looks like a pineapple plant.

no CO2 in the tank. weak lighting coz it's mainly for ferns and mosses. ferts and some potting soil will be use as bedding. (potting soil for my water lily recommended by the nursery, and guppies are swimming healthy in the pot)

anyone can help me out by recommending some plant species? thx.

why not make moss as your carpet plant as well? lotus plant got think about it ?

typo typo...should be grow moss on gravel instead of grave...LOL
*
Why not, but if you just left it on the gravel layer, it won't grow nice, it will grow like stringy.

QUOTE(*FallenAngel* @ Nov 21 2010, 08:49 PM)
k thx. i jst need 1 or 2 plants. erm, where can i get them? 88? anyone selling online?
yea, i am thinking of using moss too. is the moss in water same with the one on land? lotus plant need a lot of light and space, so it's nt really feasible.
*
if you choose to use fern(aquatic fern) or bolbitis, be sure that their leaf don't expose to air, must submerge, or else that part of leaf will die off
