no. the problem is at first I get 18V dc. Then sometimes the 18Vdc drops. after that can not get 18V dc. If I dont find out the problem and put in lm 317, still will be spoilt.

oh. Sorry, it was due to loose solder at the LM 317. When I shake the regulator, found it a bit loose.

Now I am measuring the TDA 1541A output. First I check the clock, the XO otuput when measured with DC is 2.5 V right or should I meausre using AC ?

Just bought the parts for the B22 balanced.

Buying the goldpoint stepped attenuator next week.

Still unable to actually get a case for it and it's twin S22 PSUs. Sigh.

How about B24. It is more promising than the B22, fully differential.

Don't need that kind of power, the differential topology is requred for the high power output, i rather keep the power low and thus the noise low. The only problem is the case, and the fact i need access to the labs to do any casework.

Hopefully will finish the M^3 and send off my last MHMAXes. With next week's pay i'll probably get a DAC1 and start a slushfund for my planned USP.

I just need to build one superamp for myself, something with no compromise, then i'll be satisfied and can quit this hobby for awhile.

Balanced B22 with twin PSUs, dampened chassis for lulz, Separated PSU Amp section, tons of shielding, XLRs for everything, and a whole lotta bling.

U will need components are fully matched. and wonder where would u get the components and the favourite list of items.

I paid AMB to do it for me . Rather not buy a few hundred trannies for 1 amp

I get my electronics from mouser.com, digikey and the usual suspects. I prefer building with industrial electronics rather than pay extra for audiophile stuff.

AMB is another favourite DIY of my choice, besides audio-gd. I hope to hear your review of the B22.
