A CMoy variant...

AD8616, 150mA output current capable, low voltage CMOS opamp; max 6V. I don't think the extensive bypass scheme is required, but I did it anyway for the lulz.

3.6V 300mAH NiMH can last 60 hours

My first all-aluminum Hammond amp, 1455C801

Sound wise, very powerful sound from such a small unbuffered amp. Typical Analog Devices aggressiveness. Presentation is too forward for my liking and is less dynamic compared to 24V amps due to limited voltage swing. It does good electronica with decent speed and slam.

Let me share with you my agony of having 2 balanced amps missing in post. No tracking, minimal insurance etc.

One of them is a beta22, with a dual sigma22 power supply. It is balanced, 4 channel, immaculate casework, volume control is JT Stepped Attenuator (128 digital steps).

The other is a CKK III, also balanced.

That's USD 2,000. Missing in post. Talk about bad luck.

40 days? it's been 90 days for the beta22 and ~50 days for the CKK III.

Insurance was impossible for the beta22 because it was shipped out of Iraq (military camp). So priority international only, and max to $650. No tracking as well.

The CKK III was shipped out by AlamakLor. Previously the method of postage has been quite reliable (cables, PIMETA all arrived fine).

Perhaps the customs are just having a difficult time determining the value of the product. sad.gif

Yeah naamanf.

Hopefully we get to work out a full refund. I wouldn't immediately dismiss it as 'gone', but that's me being optimistic. I have a feeling it would either work it's way to the mailing address, or the return address. Hopefully.

It would be sumwhere under RM80 i think, much cheaper. I can make u one on PCB, but u haf to case it yourself with all te 3.5mm jacks, power switch and battery net, hows that? It would be extremely much cheaper. If interested PM me.

I think for modern SS designs, it's almost impossible to tell the difference provided your power supply has high bandwidth and superior low level noise.

At least for my case, I cant tell the difference.

EDIT: I'm lazy so I go for the best and cheapest among them, the Panasonic FM.
