update - I once again went through the whole process of doing a clean install of the driver and this time, Gpuz shows Win7 at Driver Version, but DirectCompute is still unchecked. What I noticed in all these screenshots is that, all the DirectX Support shows that it supports directx 11.

Can anyone help varify if DirectCompute is really working?

did u try play any directx 11 games? or running directx 11 benchmark using unigine heaven?
try reinstall latest chipset driver & directx.if not working, maybe ur windows got problem.

catalyst driver not good on Bad Company 2.better u running unigine benchmark.

if u got spare hdd, u can try fresh install new windows.see how it goes.

from what i read, pirated or not was not an issue.it's the driver issue.there are catalyst modded driver just to fix the issue with Bad Company 2.
