hmm...should i wait 6870 oc version?

OC version or not, it's just a gimmick. Unless you really do appreciate out-of-the-box performance and do not bother overclocking on your own.
Actually at this point, I think what really matters are the coolers. Some people are naturally biased against reference coolers xD

Sometimes, certain brands do offer capacitors that are a lot better, but those usually cost a lot more. For instance the Gigabyte SOC, or MSI Lightning. These appeals to overclockers who wants to challenge the limits with their ultra-pimped up configurations =P

Just my opinion.

Guess what benchmarks are these? =P

Battle Forge, 5760 x 1080, DX10.1

These are really promising, with increased tessellation performance =)

The card with 960 sp is the 6850, while 1120 sp, the 6870.

Now be prepared with some awesome things!

Er.... Actually, according to the official slides, I would assume the 6870 would be more comparable in size to the 5850 >_> Judging from the die size and advertising, apparent 25% decrease.

900 million polygons/sec compared to the 5850's 725 polygon's per second, tell me that DX11 performance isn't better =P

we still hardly seen the different between dx9 and dx11 except unigine benchmark, normal mapping technique puts really well on making low poly to see like high poly model..if the shader doesnt exist, maybe we can see graphic card with 256 rops already  doh.gif
where are shader model 5.0 anyway  doh.gif

Makes it sound more like a gimmick >_<
Owh, there's also Metro 2033. I think Dirt 2 and Battleforge are better DX11 titles. And maybe even Civ V, although it doesn't actually look that great.

256 rops. That's scary isn't it? xD
Ever wondered how long a 5990 would be if not for the introduction of the HD6000? =P
Just not too long ago, ATI was just like that!

Thought Shader 5.0 was supposed to be established with the RV800 and the GTX400 series....
Hardware progresses too fast!!! Try name me 20 DX11 games >_>
