nowaday, i stick tu moded TwL Catalyst. Real performer..

i'm not promoting this moded,but i can say it squeeze your GPU performance to the max..

But the Toxic is using a better PCB which is about 1cm longer than the regular 5850 and with more capacitors for increased endurance when OC'ing.

The Toxic is far superior im hardware built than the rest of the 5850's line, but of course you pay extra for this 'enthusiast' features, and the Toxic cooler I think uses the Vapor-X™ system in cooling, do google up to confirm.
So you gotta decide to go stock or this.
The stock with non-reference cooler also considerable if you don't mind using the stock PCB, like the rest of us here 

GeForce GTX480 is very hot, very power consuming and noisy even it won't spoil due to this.
Still, you need to take concern about that.
Usually, I saw a lot of enthusiasts in LYN who use GeForce GTX480 will put WC on it.
