I didn't think the performance matters by now. Maybe in a few months time, the price of HD5850 (the former best bang for buck)will drop eventually if more people buy GTX460. The price gap between HD5870 and HD5850 will be huge and considering that it's the best single core card in HD5000's line, ATI will have no choice but to drop it's price to reduce the gap.
