For anyone that uses HD 5870, what's your maximum temperature when playing GPU intensive game like Metro 2033? Mine topped at 75 Celcius, I wonder is it consider as the comfort zone?

I see. 75 degree Celsius is the highest temp I saw while playing intensive GPU game. Guess it's okay then. BTW I'm using HAF932 casing and the card is Asus 5870 v2.

I'm just so overwhemeled with the sheer performance from this card. It's been quite a looong years since I invest in PC graphic card. My transition is from nVidia TNT 2 32MB -> This card. It's a light year generation ahha.

So far the only game that my 5870 can't perform well is when running Metro 2033 with Direct X 11, Quality: Very High and 16x. When set to DX10 everything run smooth as ice. Other games is like eating breakfast for the 5870. I wonder what will happen if I crossfire the upcoming 6970 with this card. hmm.

What is the safe bet to OC 5870 using the Catalyst Overdrive? So far the temp I get is ~50 Celcius on Idle and ~75 Celcius on full load, using stock speed and HAF932 casing. Can I push it a further more? Getting 20k score in 3DMark06.

Mine is Asus EAH5870 v2. And I plan to use the Catalyst Overdrive instead of Voltage tweak as I'm still beginner in voltage tweak.
