if im not mistaken, the 35mm is produced so that APS-C users can have the field of view of a 50mm on a FF body without resorting to get a FF body.

i just noticed the 85 f2.8 is seriously compact... 50mm sized.. if its sub RM1k, that could be a strong point to look into compared to the sp90, as the sp90 is about more than twice its length

looks like that casing is meant to be used with the 18-55 kit lens, of coz u still can use it with the pancake, with empty space in front of the pancake. looks kinda odd though
