get a good card for the Laptop... anything below ATI 5k series are and will have problems. for the nVidia get the GT 400 series... .

PC can still handle FFXIV with 47k series and above. Prefer 5700 series thou for better medium performance/quality wise.

is 2 hour maintenance.. 12:00AM to 02:00AM.

For Beginner's guide, when you arrive to your first Camp in-game, Check out the Call of the Adventure at the Aetheryte Crystal. This explain a lot for Beginners! Highly recommended to start of this before venturing further!!

and the FPS was great for her...

yes you can, you just need to equip the right weapon.
