It is using the Realtek 1073 chip which can play m2ts.. just a matter of can it display full BD ISO menu only

I bgt it 2 weeks ago. Able to connect to ext HD Buffalo 1TB and play downloaded movies and video clips. Played with no hitch. However internet only has Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Weather, Picasa and Flickr icons only. Could not connect to Youtube. Called Acer CS and after 3 calls on different days they called me today and said that youtube is not available. The online media is only given as example. Seriously I think this is misrepresentation. They said maybe it will be available later and to check with firmware update.......

If it doesn't support Divx, what kind of file it won't be able to play?

Mkv surely can play rite, if 1080 mkv lag or not

how about the compatibility with hd files

juz curious... can this played most of the China video format out there..

from my experience,it plays 720p flawlessly w/o hicup.the sound is solid too.the problem i'm having right now with this player is it downmix DTS/DD
to stereo.i prefer the signal to passthrough to my avr so i can enjoy 5.1 sound.btw.the chipste is 1073dd.

That means it can passthrough Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 using optical or Coaxial. You need to look for some option in their setup to enable SPDIF passthrough.

nope...in other country i think they incl it.rm320.

@ N dongle (RTL8191SU) only RM40... for realtek 1073 player.

problem settle.can pass DTS/DD through hdmi.just found the setting icon below the screen....hehehe
