I bgt it 2 weeks ago. Able to connect to ext HD Buffalo 1TB and play downloaded movies and video clips. Played with no hitch. However internet only has Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Weather, Picasa and Flickr icons only. Could not connect to Youtube. Called Acer CS and after 3 calls on different days they called me today and said that youtube is not available. The online media is only given as example. Seriously I think this is misrepresentation. They said maybe it will be available later and to check with firmware update.......

i really don't understand about downmix.does it mean that i will downmix to stereo only through hdmi n will passthrough the DTS 5.1 through optic cable?can anyone clarified it for me pls.tq.

from my experience,it plays 720p flawlessly w/o hicup.the sound is solid too.the problem i'm having right now with this player is it downmix DTS/DD to stereo.i prefer the signal to passthrough to my avr so i can enjoy 5.1 sound.btw.the chipste is 1073dd.
