You mean body or kit set? Body price around RM2400~2500, kit around RM3300.
You don't really need to check the box, just need to check the nikon warranty card. If it's nikon malaysia set, the distributor will be Nikon Malaysia. Anything other than this are grey set/AP set. My D90 box is HK set but the warranty card is nikon malaysia (and the box got a small sticker written distributed by Nikon malaysia). So it's local set also.

I think that cover you can use any waterproof cloth to replace, no need to find specifically for camera. Cloth with quality like an umbrella is okay already.

Anyway it's still risky to use a cover or cloth, better use umbrella + cloth (if you have patience and time to set up).

3490 is quite expensive, you can get cash price 3300 at J-One or 3350 at digitalsmania pudu. Not sure about creditcard installment but usually they charge a few %.

Even if J-One charge 5%, it's still RM3465, cheaper than the maybank treats fair. But I would suggest pay by cash though, no much hassle.

Not all shops give the same free gifts, but normally they will just give a bag, screen protector and memory card. Tripod and filter some give some do not. But the free tripod/filter are cheap stuff and not great in quality, you can buy separately BUT don't get conned to buy overpriced stuff.

Overpriced stuff:
1) UV filter: cap ayam UV filters only cost around RM20~40, even though the seller say this is imported from japan, don't believe. Good affordable one is Hoya normal UV filter, around RM50 for 55mm. (bigger size more expensive).

2) wide/tele/fisheye/macro converter: You don't really need these and the Image quality produced sucks. And, overpriced. don't buy at all.

The skin tone for all your photos are really natural and good, no orangish tone and wont be too pale either. You didn't PP too much for skin tone right?

I'm still having a hard time shooting portrait with bounced flash, still having some harsh flash during lowlight =X

Eh mentioning abt pre-flash, i wonder why my previous D40 and my D90 don't have any pre-flash everytime I shoot, either with pop up or nissin di622. I am glad there's no pre-flash because with pre-flash, it doesn't capture immediately after I press the shutter, it pre-flash then only capture.

That's what happening on my friend's D3000 pop up flash, I get annoyed and don't want to use D3000 =X

Should be ok... but look out for fake sandisk, google how to differentiate it. If you buy from reputable shops shouldn't be save.

It will be released latest by this year but it will be around the price of D90 being released, about 3.2k for body and 4.3k for kit. For 3.3k you can get a brand new D90 now, so it's about 900~1k difference. It's not wrong getting D90 now, like me I just got it 2 months ago. D90 replacement might have higher megapixels, more AF points, better video recording.

I bought few times in Digitalsmania Pudu plaza, price quite reasonable and good services... For best price many ppl suggest J-One at amcorp mall, PJ. Or boeing sg wang.

Before you go any shop better call them up and ask for stock availability cuz sometimes they don't have stock.
