No need to feel inferior just because D90 replacement is much better than D90, because the current D90 is cheap and you can't compare. Just like comparing 500D and 550D ==
A DX won't have noise control better than a FX like D700... Maybe better noise control but not the same. (unless u compare to D2H la zz) |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 21 2010, 01:05 PM) Well, if there is a breakthrough in the sensor technology haha! If it is on par with the D700, D700 replacement is probably going to put D3s to shame lol. And D300s will have nowhere to stand, eat dust =XBTW 50mm 1.8 for rm300, 11 months old 1 month warranty left. Can take? |

Confirm is free capalang filter lo... At most only octopus brand filter. But my filter always got dust/fingerprint after one day shooting, if no filter i afraid the lens glass got scratched =X
But buying a hoya standard filter (RM50 one) for a RM300+ lens sounds imbalance =X So i not sure want to take the 2nd hand rm300 lens (without filter) or buy new lens at rm380~400 with filter... ADDON: Oh the 50mm lens glass is recessed inside not exposed outside like 18-55 or 18-105. Then I just use without filter la! Hope this friday can get my 1st prime ^^ This post has been edited by zellleonhart: Jul 21 2010, 05:00 PM |

Wow D700 is getting so much cheaper, that time 6700 already considered cheap. I heard street price now is as low as 6100~6200. probably ready for D800 ^^

Reviews and statistics shown that D700 ISO performance is slightly better than 5D MK II, especially in high ISO range. But undoubtedly 5DMKII is much more better in HD vid recording and of course the 21MP.
It's still up to personal preference, there's no right or wrong in choosing either 1. |

They might want to end the 2-digit series, all change to 4-digit and 3-digit and 1-digit. But too many digits doesn't look and sound cool >.<

QUOTE(kenji_britney @ Aug 27 2010, 01:16 PM) focus doesn't matter, cause everything will be in focus with 10s shutter. but i just use autofocus at any building hehe. you turned on long exposure NR right? If im not mistaken it'll need sometime to process. ic... thanks for the tips =Dwhen i see the fireworks coming up, start shooting. after 10s finish then shoot again immediately. but a bit weird, my D90 quite slow to write if the shutter is more than 10s even using the sandisk extreme III 30mb/s. have to wait Job nr like a few seconds. |
