QUOTE(darthbaboon @ Aug 4 2010, 03:23 PM) The answer is.... buy what you need. ;p i do thnk that i am compulsory to have flash guns. if my frens ask me what is the next thing to buy, i said flash gun Don't buy something which is fashionable cause everyone else has one. I sold off my 50mm f1.8 long time ago cause I don't use it. I don't have a flash gun either... OMG! QUOTE(razuryza @ Aug 5 2010, 06:22 AM) got many geng woo. tot me the only one~! reason why? my reason is flash only can cover certain places and if u look the picture as a whole, it will vigenette the backside, forcing more power on flash (consume battery and harsh) and yes i love my way. so wth people want to say my noise or whatsoever haha |

QUOTE(gnome @ Aug 6 2010, 03:07 AM) Guise guise guise, need some help here. Can recommend a good location for outdoor model shoot? already got a model (a friend of mine) just not sure where to do the shoot. She suggest Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, never been there so not sure if its a good location to start or not can u state where u prefer? there is so many place can do outdoor. set ur theme first. Anyways any suggestion is greatly appreciated! Added on August 6, 2010, 9:20 pm QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Aug 6 2010, 03:18 AM) Tasik Titiwangsa is kinda nice for model shoot bro yes it is recommandable to use 1.5v battery. but people using rechargeable battery for save their wallet.Btw guys, can I use normal 1.5v energizer battery for my nissin flash? Or it's not recommended? why? it is because that rechargeable battery only 1.2v. its recharge rates is slower then normal 1.5v battery. seeing from the voltage only u can see the different. this is the main why SB900 always got overheat issue. it has stated on the manual guide book. or u cn youtube for the story. QUOTE(scorgio @ Aug 6 2010, 11:16 PM) This is some seriously stupid & misleading stuff. thnk you for clarifying what im not really understand. The voltage of a battery is completely determined by the chemicals within it. Alkaline 1.5v is peak voltage. Under load, they almost immediately sag below 1.2-1.3v. NiMH start out around 1.38v, and maintain >1.2v under heavy load. Compared to alkaline, they will maintain a higher voltage under load over the majority of a discharge. Some say this 1.5/1.2 V distinction is to let the user know that they are different kind of batteries, mixing is not recommended. Lastly, I'm pretty sure u're not a SB900 user. Bunch of hearsays. lastly i am pretty poor to own expensive gadgets like u guys. i only have this in my bag. ![]() Added on August 7, 2010, 4:23 am QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 7 2010, 12:13 AM) nimh definitely recharges faster than alkalines. 100% sure about this. From what I understand was due to the nimh having higher current output. for dat i also cant really explain as im a banking sector not engineering. i just read this. somehow i did try and found out it harder to overheat with energizer E2 lithiumhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWBPnGRY95o Added on August 7, 2010, 4:44 amhow bout my try on sensonic skintone? ![]() This post has been edited by Isepunye: Aug 7 2010, 05:07 AM |

hese days, I am shooting primarily with a Nikon D90 and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 without fail – I love that setup! When the natural light isn’t quite enough, I have a speedlight SB-600 with a small reflector umbrella. Those are my staples, and if I could only choose one lens and one lighting setup, those would be all I need. I try to keep things as simple as possible in terms of gear. (anna Gay)
