A bit overexposed I think. Made the pic looking hazy. A little adjustment on Levels & Curves in Photoshop then walla!

but looks a bit too dark to me though

Prefer the photo to be a little vibrant in colour. smile.gif
*

I think there's enough contrast, just her skin looks burnt.

hmm. I wonder if there's a specific benchmark or standard for this thing. cos I feel like it's rather subjective. What might be nais to one might not look pleasant to the other..?

Anyway, uploaded another.

Looks quite fine to me. Had quite a hard time tweaking the exposure and brightness because I didn't really know about fill-flash until I've actually went out to shoot. how dumb. lol. Any comments?

Just bought a d90 a few days back, heh heh.
Had a hard time choosing between Canon d550 and d90, since they're both quite alike despite their age and HD video capabilities.

I must say I made the right choice =)
*
I was considering 550D earlier. lol. Welcome abroad mate =)

Nah, there's no specific benchmark, if you are happy with it then that's the best I guess smile.gif. But then again, I think she isn't the fair type anyways so the skin color if the saturation or contrast were cranked up her skin would look sorta burnt.
*
noted that. =)

QUOTE(Isepunye @ Jul 24 2010, 08:42 AM)
ur fill in flash is insufficient IMO. tweak more abit smile.gif

i much much prefer if u can do diz way.

ehhh how u did that? looks as if flash was actually used. haha! I didn't realise the importance of fill flash until I went out to shoot. Learning from mistake biggrin.gif

RAW is awesome. haha. d other day I was out shooting, 330 RAW image and still got space. I was using a 4GB memory card. So I dont really see the 'image file size too big' problem

Seriously, would be appreciated if you type in English or proper Malay. A bit hard to understand to be honest.

if edit kaw kaw also if composition is sucky, blur here blur there, post-process like how also... pretty meh?

haha.. well of course editing or post-processing is not the main thing. it's just another process that helps to enhance the prettiness of the images, imho =)

I have a question here. While shooting with a 50mm 1.8 or the kitlens 18-105, does the lens affect the vivid effect of the photo ? And what other aspects that affects it too ?
*
QUOTE(razuryza @ Jul 28 2010, 10:33 PM)
what u mean by vivid effect? if color, yes.. primes and zooms usually produce different tones (slightly la)
*
which can be tweaked afterwards lol tongue.gif

there's one mode called Vivid colour or something like that in camera.
